Bellefield at Historic Hyde Park is destined to be an extraordinary, premier agri-community for living, visiting and indulging. This unique culinary experience nestled in the Northeast United States’ breadbasket, will be centered around the Hudson Valley Culinary Village and Market, which will offer 500,000 square feet of farm-to-table, chef-driven dining offerings; artisan culinary retailers; food markets; and related businesses. Space opportunities range from 500 to 10,000 square feet. 0 400 800 1200 1600 2000FT Farm Fields Farm Grazing Meadow Retail/Restaurant-1Sty. w/Mezz. The Market Square The Market Square Visitors and residents will embrace a locavore’s lifestyle with farm-fresh ingredients grown on property and from nearby Hudson River Valley farms at Bellefield Market Square’s year-round farmers’ market. We are seeking several signature restaurants offering original farm-to-table menus using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients for intimate meals, family dinners, large gatherings, “foodie-themed” events and musical programs.
The Village Green We envision prominently featuring a New York State wine center and craft brewery beer garden and a coffee and teahouse at The Village Green. Prominently situated at the Bellefield Route 9 entry, the Village Green will be a lively, urbane, but rustic public space. Encircled by tree canopies and wetland streams, it will be accessed by a picturesque footbridge from the Market Square and from the ample shaded and screened parking immediately east. A concentration of food retail and services, art galleries, shops and artist studio lofts will result in a dynamic and creative place—sensitively carved out of the wooded site. A spacious terrace —supported by rough-hewn timber trestles provides an overlook to the Hudson River to the west—and the expected dramatic sunsets.
Main Street and The Village Commons Main Street and The Village Commons Main Street will provide lively urbanity and shopping alongside the green, open space of Bellefield Village Commons. Street-level shops and boutiques will be topped by spacious, elegant apartments. Abundant parking is concealed inside the blocks with intimate scaled live/work units sited along the Hudson River side of this unique neighborhood. We are seeking a new culinary-based food shopping market that will anchor the west portion of the Main Street neighborhood.
The Village Commons—nestled between Main Street and the lush, wooded ridge to its east, The Village Commons will provide many options for recreational and cultural activities. An outdoor naturally fed pool, adjoining fountains and landscape will complement this true public garden.
“With so many premier tourism destinations located in Hyde Park, the addition of attractive, well-located lodging will allow visitors to stay where they play.” Aileen Rohr, Supervisor, Town of Hyde Park
