We offer a range of catering, Bride and Bridesmaids Care Packages. We offer an outdoor/indoor wedding experience with a garden ceremony and the events area to be arranged to your requirements for your reception. INCLUDED IN YOUR WEDDING PACKAGE • Outdoor ceremony in our garden for up to 100 people, Marquee (with solid sides)caters for up to 100 people plus Covered area for up to 100 people plus a grass area for up to 250 people. Accommodation: 5 cottages on site (3 x 3 sleeper, 1 x 6 sleeper self-catering unit and 1 x 2 sleeper -bridal Suite), (Enquire for an option to book 2 nights) • Wifi • Generator in case of power failure • Cash bar facilities • Glass ware, Crockery and Cutlery • Mobile VIP Toilets for venue ADDITIONAL CHARGES TO YOUR WEDDING PACKAGE • Catering • Wedding Planner • Tables, Table Linen and Chairs • Beverages A beverage price list is available on request. A corkage fee of R40.00 per 750ml bottle applies for all wine & champagne. • Staff A flat rate of R2,500 is charged for the set up and break down of the venue, included in this cost is 2 Barman. Your waiters and Wine Stewards for the function will be charge at R50.00 p.h for each waiter/wine steward. • After-hours – for morning functions any time after 16:00 and evening functions any time after 23:30 an after-hours rate is charged (after-hours rate of R2,000.00p.h will be charged, in addition to an hourly staff rate of R75 per hour per staff) • Music – Live or recorded • No loud music after 22.00. TO BE ORGANISED BY YOU • All décor and flowers. Flower arrangements must be brought to the venue in completed in vases and set up by you. • Additional lighting if desired • DJ/Music and the audio & visual equipment needed. TIMINGS VIEWINGS: Viewings are welcome by appointment only. SET-UP & BREAKDOWN: Set-up may be arranged for 1 day prior to your wedding should the venue not be booked for that day. Confirmation is needed closer to the time. If the venue is booked the day before, set-up on the day of the wedding may start at 07:00 for morning weddings and 09:00 for afternoon weddings. Breakdown is done either directly after the wedding or on the first working day after the wedding from 09:00. Please arrange this with your suppliers. Should you require any catering, we would gladly assist, please ask for names of catering companies.
ON THE WEDDING DAY: The venue will be available until 16:00 for morning weddings and 23:30 for afternoon weddings. A R2,000 per hour fee will be charged for overtime after 16:00 / 23.30 respectively. No excessively loud music after 23:00. If you would like to continue after 23:30, the doors will be closed. Music will be turned down at 23:00 and off by 23:15. Last round for the bar will be at 22:30. Please note: Day weddings the venue will be available for use between 08.00 & 16.00 and for Afternoon Weddings the venue will be available for use between 12.00 and 23.30 FOOD AND BEVERAGE: CATERING: We do not provide the catering this will be outsourced or we can help in providing a list of caterers. STAFF: A flat rate of R2,500 is charged for the set up and break down of the venue, included in this cost is 2 Barman , 15% gratuity will also be charged for your barman, waiters and wine stewards. 1 Security Guard at R550 flat fee. CASH BAR: A bar list is available on request. Please indicate if any of your guests have a preference to ensure enough stock is provided. An open bar/bar tab on the client’s account can be arranged prior to the wedding. If a cash bar is preferred, guests must be notified to bring cash along. CORKAGE: A corkage fee of R40.00 per 750ml bottle applies for all wine & champagne. No other alcohol and beverages may be brought by the client. A cash bar or bar tab on client’s account is available. ACCOMMODATION Rose Cottage Honeymoon suite- Furnished with a King-size bed, ideal for a Honeymoon suite. There is a luxurious en-suite bathroom with a roll-top bath and walk-in shower. This cottage has its own secluded wood fired hot tub on its own private veranda. Lavender Cottage-Available as Double-bedded room with an additional single bedded room, en suite bathroom (walk in shower). This cottage has its own secluded wood fired hot tub on its own private veranda. Iris Cottage -Available as a Double or Twin-bedded room with an additional single bedded room, an en-suite bathroom (walk in shower). This Cottage has its own private veranda with stunning views over the vineyard towards the majestic mountain range. Daffodil Cottage - Available as a Double-bedded or Twin-bedded room with an additional single bedded room, an en-suite bathroom (bath with overhead shower). The cottage has a private veranda with views of the vineyard and mountains.
Tulip Cottage - A beautiful self-catering apartment, it has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, Kitchen fitted with Fridge Freezer, Oven, 4 ring Hob, Microwave, Toaster, Kettle, Dining/Lounge area with a gate leg table and six chairs and a Double sleeper couch. Facilities: Free Wi Fi, Safe, Veranda, Air Conditioning & heating, Overhead Fan, Mini Bar – Personalised to your requirements, Tea/Coffee making facilities, Towels and Hair Dryer. We provide 5 Cottages which sleeps up to 17 guests in total. TERMS AND CONDITIONS SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT ANY TIME PAYMENTS Unfortunately, no dates will be provisionally booked without a 50% deposit. Once you confirm your booking for the venue and/or guest rooms, a non-refundable booking fee along with a signed agreement within 48hours secures your booking. Please send your proof of payment and signed agreement to reservations@5mountains.co.za • Full payment is required for weddings taking place within 30 days. • The balance of your account is payable 30 days prior to your wedding date. • Please confirm by latest 30 days prior to your wedding: 1. Procedures for the day / schedule 2. Final number of guests (remember to include your on-site service providers) 3. Layout of your wedding venue 4. Menu selection and dietary requirements 5. Beverages and bar arrangements 6. A list of your service providers with contact numbers FURNITURE AND EQUIPMENT • The use of our standard furniture and equipment is at no extra charge. Any additional items should be supplied or hired at the client’s cost. • Candles may not be placed directly our tables. Candleholders should be wide enough to ensure no wax drips on our tables. • No permanent alterations are allowed such as nails or hooks in the wall, roof or frames. • Damage to 5 Mountains Lodge and Spa/ 5 Mountains Events property including furniture and equipment will be charged for accordingly. RISK, LOSS AND DAMAGES 5 Mountains Lodge and Spa/5 Mountains Events will not be held liable for interruptions of services beyond its control i.e. Eskom Load shedding. We do however have a backup generator. • All precautions will be taken to ensure safeguarding of your belongings. However 5 Mountains Lodge and Spa/5 Mountains Events will not be held liable for loss or damage to any property whatsoever (valuables, wedding gifts, etc.). All personal and valuable property must be removed directly after the wedding. • 5 Mountains Lodge and Spa/ 5 Mountains Events its employees, or any person employed for weddings will not be held liable for any loss or injury to persons due to negligence or any other cause whatsoever. • 5 Mountains Lodge is a non-smoking venue. We kindly request that your guests only smoke in the designated areas outside.
