स.मा.ग.म.- १९ 5th Indian Social Sciences & Humanities Congress 2019 Two Day International Summit On 7-8th September 2019 (Saturday & Sunday), at Jadavpur University, Kolkata ------------------------------------------------------------- Respected Madam/Sir, We are glad to inform you that original, authentic, scholarly and unpublished research papers are invited from scholars, faculty, researchers, students and fellows for 5th Indian Social Sciences & Humanities Congress 2019 (SAMAGAM 19) which will be held on 7th - 8th September 2019 at Jadavpur University, Kolkata - 700 032, India; organised by P.A.I.O.L.C.K. in collaboration with Department of Library & Information Science, Jadavpur University. There’s no particular theme or sub-themes except English department. All research papers are expected to meet the scientific evidence and academic excellence and will be evaluated by an expert panel of referees in a double fold blind reviewing process. The decision of referees is final and binding. The Editorial Board reserves the right to reject any manuscript as unsuitable in topic, style or form; without requesting external review. Each article should be accompanied with a declaration by all the authors that (1) they are the authors of the article in order in which listed; and (2) the article is original, has not been published or presented and has not been submitted for publication elsewhere. It is the author’s responsibility to obtain permission in writing for the use of all previously published material, not that of the editors or organizer/publisher. All views and opinions in ‘Article’ are the sole responsibility of the author/s concerned. Neither the ‘Editors’ nor ‘Organizer / Publisher’ can in anyway, be held responsible for them. Indian Social Sciences & Humanities Congress 2019 should be accompanied by a declaration that the author has contributed his/her own work for publication. Submission of a manuscript implies that it is not under consideration for publication anywhere else. All of the accepted research papers (only) will be eligible to be presented and published at the conference and they should register on or before the final registration deadline. Papers without registration will be withdrawn. More than one paper by a Contributor would not be admissible. Each and Every author and co-author(s) is required to register separately. For registration, accepted authors are required to use the same e-mail address that was used for submitting the paper. Only those registered candidates who will be physically present at the conference are eligible to receive certificates. However, in addition of that if for any reason like Medical Emergency or Sudden Death in family, registered candidate’s paper can be considered in absentia only if author has provided sufficient evidence from the side of medical officer and from the university / organization officials. In case, registered candidates are refused to visa during the days of conference or they have missed their flight then they should be permitted for SKYPE presentation. There will be 22 separate subjects/departments/disciplines with their independent proceedings volume with ISSN or ISBN from national reputed publisher under UGC norms. The contributors are entitled to get a copy of particular proceedings volume (print copy) containing his/her article free of cost. Each and every volume will be published during the conference. Participants have to submit full and complete paper along with abstract and key-words. The text of the paper must be word processed. All manuscripts must be neatly typed as DTP and the softcopy of full paper submitted only as MS Word (2003-2007) in the form of a .docx/.doc file (or Google doc file) as Attachment/s (not as a PDF, JPEG or other format) containing the author’s name, designation, subject/ department, subject code, Institution, address for correspondence, Mobile No (Permanent) and WhatsApp No. through Email. Each and every subject/ department has a specific Email ID. The file name should be as: ‘subject code_author's name_sarname’ (e.g.). Manuscripts should be within 2000-3500 words (or not more than 12 Royal Size Book Pages) in length including the title, key-words (Maximum 7), abstract (within 150 words), institutional designation, email address, appendix (es), references, tables, and figures. Graphs and charts need to be prepared in MS Office (Word/Excel) and not in jpeg or other formats. Use of illustrations and photographs must be limited and separately uploaded/attached as JPEG file. British spelling is preferred. Bengali, Assamese, Sanskrit & Hindi manuscripts must be typed in any Unicode Font. The Last Date of Full Paper Submission: 30th June 2019 (Sunday) midnight. Indian Social Sciences & Humanities Congress 2019 After getting the acceptance letter, participants (both authors and co- author/s) should submit the registration fees online. Registration fee- INR 1,400/- only (Indian rupees one thousand, four hundred only) for Citizens of India and other SAARC/ BIMSTEC Countries. Registration fee- 150/- USD (one hundred fifty United States dollars only) for foreign nations from other than SAARC/BIMSTEC Countries. Registration fee for accompany person INR 700/- only (Indian rupees Seven hundred only). The accompanying person will not be provided kit, certificate or publications. Wide ranging accommodations are available in Kolkata around the vicinity of the Venue of the Conference. Participants are advised to make their bookings well in advance directly with the hotels. No accommodation or travelling allowance/ Dearness Allowance will be provided by us.
