Thank You! “Twisting” SHAgala from our typical live venue to a virtual event was no easy task. We appreciate the parents, alumni, and friends in the Sacred Heart community who helped make SHAgala 2021 happen. Without the dedication and creativity of our awesome planning committee, we could not be successful. We are truly blessed with their time and talent. Volunteers always come through for SHA. We are also blessed by the financial support of many: cash donors, auction / gift donors, those who purchase cash raffle tickets, and others. This gracious support will help us achieve a virtual victory! Enjoy the event! Bid high! Thank you, SHAgala Committee! 2

Dear SHAgala Supporters: What a year it has been! The COVID-19 pandemic changed our world in ways we could never imagine. Just after SHAgala last year, our lives came to a screeching halt as the world navigated the impact of a highly-contagious virus. At Sacred Heart Academy, we were fortunate our students did not miss a beat, as teachers quickly transitioned to virtual lessons and finished the year with grace. To start the 2020-21 school year, teachers and staff adapted to many precautions and requirements allowing us to keep our students at school, getting the benefit of face-to-face instruction. What a blessing for parents to know Sacred Heart Academy is working harder than ever to continue the traditions of high academic standards, morals and values education, and service learning. These traditions, part of what parents recognize as The SHA Difference, make our Kinder-Prep to 12th grade school the very best choice for education. Although many things have changed, there is something which remains constant: support for our Catholic school. SHAgala is the Academy’s biggest fundraiser each year. The transition to a virtual event—hosting SHAgala With a Twist—is credited to our dedicated volunteers who have worked hard to achieve a “virtual victory”. We are humbled by the donations of cash and items which have come from parents, alumni, parishioners, friends, and the business community during such a difficult year. We cannot thank everyone enough for their support . Proceeds from SHAgala support the Academy’s 131-year commitment to the spiritual, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth of students to their fullest potential. Please bid high, play the games of chance, and remember to give to the Teachers. God bless you for your generous support. Gratefully, Wendy McConnell Endres SHA ‘91 SHAgala Chairperson
