A NOTE FROM DAVID ADAM ADAMS AM MSS M DIRECTOR PARKS & RECREATION ON Thank you!! As we spring into summer and warmer temperatures, we are hopeful that you are able to join us for another safe, exci!ng summer (and fall) of ac!vi!es! As always, safety and the well-being of our par!cipants and their families remain cri!cal in determining our overall success. 2020 brought about a number of “opportuni!es”, and we cannot begin to express how thankful and lucky we are to have the support of our Town Administrator and Town Board, as well as the great Community of Mukwonago. A special and sincere thank you goes out to those business owners that were kind enough to sponsor our youth programs, despite the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as those parents, volunteers, officials, instructors, coaches, and kids that followed our COVID strategies with great pa!ence and understanding. Special men!on is historically provided in our next guide, lis!ng the various local businesses that sponsor our various ac!vi!es… we are beyond blessed to live in a community that supports our local youth and programming! I would be remiss however, if I did not extend my personal gra!tude to Jim Lombardo, of Bell Ambulance for dona!ng 24 first aid kits for our youth sports ac!vi!es; Mark Greene, of Lynch – Mukwonago, for dona!ng 10 first aid kits for our youth sports ac!vi!es; and, Victor Islami, of Blue Bay, for their generous dona!on toward our youth sports equipment needs. As you browse through this guide, we are hopeful that you find an ac!vity (or two) to enjoy this coming summer/fall… if not, we invite any and all sugges!ons as we are already working on addi!onal programs for our winter offerings. On a personal note, I wish to thank everyone at our beloved Town Hall for their help and guidance as I begin my first full-!me season here for the Parks and Rec Department.
