DOOR-TO-DOOR PICKUP In order to make your trip as smooth as possible, you will be collected from your door by taxi or mini bus and taken to meet the coach at either Radcliffe on Trent and Mount Street, Nottingham. This eliminates hours of travelling around pickup points and enables the coach to commence its journey promptly after loading, the reverse applies on return. This service is included in your tour cost providing you live within a 10-mile radius of Nottingham city centre. Enquire with our staff if you live outside this radius and arrangements can be made but may incur a small charge. beneath Cleeve Hill, the highest point in the
Cotswolds above the River Severn. We spend
the morning here where you can discover the
Promenade considered to be one of the most
beautiful thoroughfares in the country, with
its tree lined avenue flanked by smart shops

Colesbourne Park England’s greatest Snowdrop
garden. The gardens comprise of approximately 10 acres of formal snowdrop walks around the house and lake,
with further parkland and an arboretum around the house to explore further afield. The beautiful St James’ church
is always open on most Saturdays during the season. There is a tea-room at the house where a different charity

a combined lift and river cruise on the Edwin Clark.
The cruise will take you along the picturesque River
Weaver to Northwich and you will see beautiful
wildlife, historic Northwich. A commentary by the
guide will help you discover the industrial heritage
of the area and why the lift was so important then
and now. There is a coffee shop for refreshment
and a gift shop for souvenirs. This afternoon we
continue to Jodrell Discovery Centre which has
been awarded UNESCO World Heritage Site
status. The observatory played a unique role in
this momentous occasion, capturing the moment when the Eagle landed, carrying Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, and
touched down on the surface of the Moon in 1969. Take a walking tour beneath the Lovell Telescope or experience live

not try a Bunbury Cake, a local delicacy. This afternoon
we continue to the intriguing Broughton Castle a moated
and fortified manor house set in parkland and built of the rich local Hornton ironstone. It is home to the
21st Lord and Lady Saye and Sele, whose family name is Fiennes and have owned the Castle since 1447.
The gardens, which are surrounded by a three-acre moat have long mixed shrub, rose and herbaceous

Sharpes of Nottingham are proud to present our National and Continental private coach fleet, we offer a
full and extensive UK day excursion programme, and UK and Continental holidays. We also cater for private
group packages, contracts and PSV and HGV maintenance.
Our fleet of Executive and Standard coaches are fitted with seat belts and range from 17 seats right up
to 83 seats. Our Platinum Class vehicles are of a high specification, all featuring climate control, hot and
cold drinks facilities, toilet/wash room, Multimedia Systems (non-copyright media purposes only), radio,
PA system, some with leather seats, Wi-Fi and extra leg room. We have a coach with wheelchair lift facility,
capable of carrying up to 10 wheelchairs fixed in the vehicle or may be just use the lift for ease of access to
the vehicle. Please ask our private hire team for more details.
