DEPART USA FROM NEWARK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT - EWR (NEWARK, NJ)
Our group will meet at NEWARK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT - EWR - (Newark, NJ). Our group will have a meeting before
checking-in AS A GROUP for our international flight to Tel Aviv, Israel, scheduled to depart at 10:50 PM.
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 29, 2021
ARRIVAL AT BEN GURION INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (TEL AVIV, ISRAEL)
Upon arrival in TEL AVIV, ISRAEL (scheduled at 2:10 PM), we will be met by a representative of INTERNATIONAL HERITAGE
TOURS. We will claim our luggage, meet our tour guide, and board our bus. Before going to our hotel, we will make a brief
stop in the old city of JAFFA which affords us a breath-taking view of the ancient seaport and the modern city of TEL AVIV
located on the Mediterranean Sea. At this picturesque port city of winding alleys, art galleries, and craft boutiques, King
Solomon had cedars from Lebanon rafted for the building of the first Temple in Jerusalem. We will view the location of the
HOUSE OF SIMON THE TANNER and a beautiful view of the NIGHT LIGHTS OF TEL AVIV. We then drive to the METROPOLITAN
HOTEL for check-in and dinner and a good night’s rest. We will begin our “Journey of a Lifetime” in the morning.
DINNER & OVERNIGHT AT THE METROPOLITAN HOTEL – TEL AVIV, ISRAEL
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 30, 2021
JOFFA / CAESAREA / MT. CARMEL / MEGIDDO / TIBERIAS
After breakfast at our hotel, we begin our journey northward along the western coast of Israel traveling the PLAINS OF
SHARON, the MEDITERRANEAN SEA, and the old coastal road called the VIA MARIS, that linked Egypt and Babylon. As we
travel northward to the GALILEE, we will stop at CAESAREA, the incredible fortress city built by King Herod the Great. Pontius
Pilate had his base here as well. Cornelius lived and was baptized here (Acts 10); Paul embarked to Tarsus from here (Acts
9:30); and Philip preached here (Acts 8:40). We will visit a ROMAN THEATRE, a ROMAN HIPPODROME, and a CRUSADER CITY.
We will make a brief stop to see the giant AQUA-DUCTS built by Herod to supply his place in Caesarea with fresh water. We
continue northward toward Haifa and ascend MT. CARMEL, the site where the prophet Elijah called down fire from heaven
and slew the false prophets of Baal (1 Kings 18). We will stand on the roof of a monastery and see an incredible panoramic
view of ARMAGEDDON (PLAINS OF JEZREEL). After our visit to Mt. Carmel, we turn inland and proceed to TEL MEGIDDO, one
of King Solomon’s fortified cities (1 Kings 9:15; 10:26), with ruins of 20 levels of civilizations. From here the Books of Daniel
and Revelation will come alive as we read about ARMAGEDDON, while viewing the PLAINS OF JEZREEL. As we proceed toward
the SEA OF GALILEE, we will make a brief stop at the CHURCH OF THE PRIMACY to see where Jesus three times asked Peter,
“Do you love me?” We then continue to the RAMOT HOTEL located on the eastern side of the SEA OF GALILEE. After check-
in, we will enjoy a delicious dinner at our hotel.
DINNER & OVERNIGHT AT THE RAMOT HOTEL – TIBERIAS, ISRAEL
WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 1, 2021
JESUS MINISTRY IN GALILEE / SEA OF GALILEE / GOLAN HEIGHTS
We begin our day with a visit to the ANCIENT BOAT MUSEUM and a BOAT RIDE on the SEA OF GALILEE. Here we will see a
boat recovered that dates back to the days of Jesus. We will continue our sight-seeing by traveling to CAPERNAUM, the center
of Jesus’ Galilean ministry. We will see the remains of the HOUSE OF PETER and WHITE SYNAGOGUE. Jesus taught and
worshipped in this very synagogue when He was in Capernaum. We will then continue to the MOUNT OF BEATITUDES where
Jesus delivered what is perhaps the most famous sermon ever preached – “The Sermon on the Mount”. We then make our
way to CAESAREA PHILIPPI (BANIAS), one of the sources of the JORDAN RIVER. This is where Jesus took His Disciples to ask
them just one question – “Who do men say that I the Son of Man am?” (Matthew 16:13). We then travel to TEL DAN, located
in Northern Israel. This is the most northern tip of Israel and borders Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan. This is the site where Jeroboam
erected two golden calves, committing idolatry. Next, we travel up the GOLAN HEIGHTS and the FIELD OF TEARS. The Golan Heights provides us a breath taking view all the way into Syria. We then return to our hotel for dinner and good night’s rest. We will end our day with a visit to Kursi, where the Demonic of Gadara had a conversation with Jesus. DINNER & OVERNIGHT AT THE RAMOT HOTEL – TIBERIAS, ISRAEL THURSDAY, DECEMBER 2, 2021 NORTHERN ISRAEL / BEIT SHE’AN / JORDAN RIVER / JERUSALEM Today we say, “Good-bye,” to the Sea of Galilee and travel to Nazareth. In NAZARETH, we will visit NAZARETH VILLAGE, depicting the time of our Lord Jesus. As we leave Nazareth, we will make a quick stop at THE PRECIPICE, the place the citizens of Nazareth wanted to cast Jesus off of the cliffs. We will then travel through the JORDAN VALLEY onto BEIT SHE’AN, where we will walk through the excavations of the largest ongoing archaeological dig in the land of Israel. It is also the city where the bodies of King Saul and his sons were nailed to the walls by the Philistines (1 Samuel 31:10). Along the way, we will stop to see GIDEON’S SPRING where he instructed his men to drink water from the spring. Time permitting, we will stop and see a ZODIAC inside an ancient synagogue. Next, we ascend up to JERUSALEM stopping briefly to view the ROAD TO JERICHO from above. Upon arriving in JERUSALEM – THE WONDERFUL CITY OF GOD. We will proceed to the PRIMA KINGS HOTEL for check-in and a good dinner before retiring for the evening. DINNER & OVERNIGHT AT THE PRIMA KINGS HOTEL – JERUSALEM, ISRAEL FRIDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2021 MT. OF OLIVES / OLD CITY / YAD VESHEM / ISRAEL MUSEUM Today we have one of the busiest days of our tour. We begin our day with a visit to the TEMPLE MOUNT AND THE WESTERN WALL. Afterwards, we go directly to YAD VASHEM (HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL). It is a moving experience we will never forget! We then visit the ISRAEL MUSEUM and see a model of Jerusalem as it appeared in the day of our Lord. We will visit the SHRINE OF THE BOOK, a museum for the DEAD SEA SCROLLS. Afterwards, we make our way to our bus and ride across the KIDRON VALLEY to the MOUNT OF OLIVES where we will have a group photo. Then we proceed to the GARDEN OF GETHSEMANE where Jesus prayed the night before He was crucified. We will visit the TOMB OF THE PROPHETS, head across the KIDRON VALLEY to MT. ZION, and then have a devotional in front of the EASTERN GATE. We enter the OLD CITY OF JERUSALEM and visit ST. ANNE’S CHURCH, the POOL OF BETHESDA, the UPPER ROOM, KING DAVID’S TOMB, the HOUSE OF CAIPHAS & THE PIT, and see the STEPS WHERE JESUS WALKED. We will have lunch and a little time for shopping in the MARKETS of the OLD CITY. We will visit the JEWISH QUARTER, the BLUE & WHITE GALLERY, and see part of an excavated street that dates back to the days of Christ. After a day filled with walking, we finally return to our hotel for dinner and a good night’s sleep. DINNER & OVERNIGHT AT PRIMA KINGS HOTEL – JERUSALEM, ISRAEL SATURDAY, DECEMBER 4, 2021 JERICHO / BETHANY / GARDEN TOMB / COMMUNION SERVICE Today we will begin our day with a special WATCHMAN ON THE WALLS PRAYER MEETING after breakfast in our hotel. Toward the evening, we will proceed to JERICHO, BETHANY, THE GARDEN TOMB, the site where we will see both MT. CALVARY (GOLGOTHA) and THE EMPTY TOMB! We will finish our evening with a COMMUNION SERVICE outside of the EMPTY TOMB! We then return to our hotel for dinner. Some may want to walk to Ben Yehuda Street to do some shopping. Tomorrow, we leave Jerusalem and will travel to the Red Sea city of Eilat. DINNER & OVERNIGHT AT PRIMA KINGS HOTEL – JERUSALEM, ISRAEL SUNDAY, DECEMBER 5, 2021 QUMRAN / DEAD SEA / EIN GEDI / MASADA / SODOM & GOMORRAH / EILAT Today we check out of our hotel and proceed to Eilat, located on the Red Sea. We board our bus and travel down to the JORDAN RIVER / DEAD SEA region for several sight-seeing experiences. Our first stop will be the AHAVA FACTORY located in the JUDEAN WILDERNESS near the DEAD SEA. This is a good shopping experience where you can find many skin creams made from the rich minerals of the Dead Sea. We then travel to QASR EL YEHUD (“Castle of Israel”) JORDAN RIVER baptismal site located near the ancient city of JERICHO. At this site on the JORDAN RIVER, some may want to be baptized in the Jordan River. We will then proceed to the DEAD SEA where you can wade into the water. We then make our way to QUMRAN, site where the DEAD SEA SCROLLS were discovered. Next, we go to EIN GEDI, site where David hid in the caves from King Saul. Our last stop in the wilderness will be the ancient King Herod fortress of MASADA. The story of MASADA is one that will touch your heart. As we make our journey to EILAT, we will stop briefly for snacks and a restroom break along the way. We finally arrive in the city of Eilat, located on the Red Sea. Upon arrival, we will have dinner and a good night’s rest. Those that are going to Petra in the morning must wake up early for the trip to the Jordanian border and drive to Petra. Those that do not go will spend the day in Eilat and enjoy the beach of the Red Sea. Dr. Cook will collect $125 CASH (for visas, border taxes, and tips) from all that plan to go to Petra tomorrow. MONDAY, DECEMBER 6, 2021
PETRA DAY TOUR
After a good night’s sleep, We will spend the entire day in the country of Jordan, and return to Eilat, Israel at dinner time. It
will be an amazing trip to see the prophetic site of PETRA, spoken of by the prophet Isaiah in Isaiah 63. A late lunch will be
provided in Jordan during our return from our Petra excursion. Those not going to Petra will spend a relaxing day at the seaside
resort on the Red Sea where there are many shopping opportunities.
DINNER & OVERNIGHT AT LEONARDO HOTEL – EILAT, ISRAEL
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 7, 2021
TIMNATH NATIONAL PARK / WILDERNESS DRIVE / FAREWELL DINNER / AIRPORT DEPARTURE
Today, we check out of our hotel and drive to TIMNATH NATIONAL PARK where we will visit a full-scale model of the TABERANCLE IN THE
WILDERNESS. This is located near the ancient copper mines of Solomon. We will then proceed to Tel Aviv by driving northward through the
WILDERNESS OF SIN, stopping a few times to visit sites. Upon arrival in Tel Aviv, we will enjoy a wonderful MEDITERRANEAN FAREWELL
DINNER. After dinner, we will head to the airport to check-in for our flight back to the U.S.A. Our departure is scheduled at 01:00 AM.
