Partnership with Virgin Pulse For the 2021 Program Year, members will need to register a new Designed Wellness account at: https://join.virginpulse.com/designedwellness Designed Wellness is available online or via the Virgin Pulse App, which can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.

Who Can Participate? Both employees and spouses that have medical coverage through ACEC Life/Health Trust are eligible to participate in the Designed Wellness program and can each earn up to $400 in incentives for a total of $800 combined!
AHIP Components • Participation in AHIP will determine the medical premium amount that you pay this year. • Each employee and spouse that is covered by a Trust medical plan will need to participate. • Employees or spouses that fail to complete the required compliance activities by the specified deadlines will be charged a higher medical premium. • Contact your Human Resources department for further details on your firm’s premium differential specifics.
AHIP Completion Steps To be compliant with AHIP and earn an additional $200/$400 combined in incentives, employees and spouses must complete the following: STEP 1 Complete the Biometric Screening by March 31, 2021 STEP 2 Complete the Personal Health Assessment by August 31, 2021 If applicable, complete a Health STEP 3 Improvement Program by August 31, 2021

Biometric Screening—Greater Insight 1. Cholesterol 2. Blood glucose (sugar) levels Takes approximately 10-15 3. Triglycerides minutes 4. Blood pressure 5. Body mass index (BMI) Earn $50 for completing your screening! To prepare for a screening, we recommend fasting for 9 – 12 hours to produce the most accurate results.

Metabolic Syndrome (MetS) o Metabolic syndrome serves as a simple tool for identifying individuals at high risk for diabetes and other chronic conditions, particularly those who do not fall into traditional risk categories. o It’s important to note that that Metabolic Syndrome is not outwardly obvious, and most people don’t know that they have it and are at risk of future chronic disease. o If you have metabolic syndrome or any of its components, lifestyle changes can delay or even prevent the development of serious health problems. Rather, they are participation-based. Participants may not achieve their individual goals; each will still meet AHIP’s requirements by participating and earn $100!
Exception Request If for any reason, it is medically inadvisable for you to participate in AHIP, you are entitled to request an exception from the program and be deemed compliant. To request an exception confidentially, please reach out to Customer Service at (888-671-9395) and they will provide you with the applicable form.
