Sponsorships for this event range from $25 - 8,000 LIBRARY SUMMER READING PROGRAM | JUNE - JULY 2022 The Justin Community Library Summer Reading Program brings a goal- oriented, event-driven summer to kids and adults alike. Participants earn prizes, take part in fun activities and learn while doing it. Sponsorships for this program range from $250 - 3,000 JUSTIN FUN DAYS | JUNE 3-4, 2022 (TENTATIVE) Welcoming back our most anticipated event, Justin Fun Days is sure to be just that - FUN! Tentative activities include carnival games and rides, a rodeo, vendor opportunities and so much more. Sponsorships for this event range from $25 - 10,000 MOVIES IN THE PARK | DATES TBD Introducing Movies in the Park, a new addition to our City of Justin Programming. 7 | EVENT PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES FOR ALL EVENTS Each Vendor is responsible for his/her own booth display, set-up, and break-down. No assistance to load or unload should be expected. No tables, chairs, tents, signs, etc. will be supplied by the City of Justin. No electric is available for outside booths. If you need either, you will need to bring a generator and notify City Staff for appropriate placement of your booth due to the expected noise and potential public safety issues that this will cause. Vendors may only sell and exhibit items that are legal, smoke-free, drug-free, family-friendly, and appropriate for all ages; and, must be void of political propaganda, and/or sexual/explicit content. Though it is our objective to only accept one vendor per commercial product, we do not guarantee exclusivity of items or vendors. In any case, we make every effort to place vendors where we believe they will be most successful. Please read and understand all guidelines before submitting your online application. Your submission of the Application indicates your acceptance. All applications must be submitted to the city via our virtual form at cityofjustin.com/events. No sponsorship or vendor application will be considered accepted without this form completed and payment received. FOR ALL VENDOR BOOTHS AND SPONSORSHIPS X Verbal or written communication with City personnel will NOT hold your space. X Vendor Booth reservations and event sponsorships are not confirmed until application and applicable payment are received by the City of Justin. X Applications are accepted on a “1st come, 1st served” basis as space allows. BOOTH ASSIGNMENTS & SET-UP Though it is our objective to only accept one vendor per commercial product, we do not guarantee exclusivity of items or vendors. In any case, we make every effort to place vendors where we think they will be most successful. • You will be responsible for setting up your entire booth display, including tables, chairs, tent, etc. Each space is as indicated on the Application, in the area designated by the City of Justin. • All vendor spaces must be set up no later than 30 minutes before public access. • Do not expect assistance with loading or unloading; only bring what you can handle. • Vendor placement is designated by the City of Justin. An Event Map will be issued prior to the Event. • You may set up and sell from your booth on the day of the Event only. • All booths must be set up and clear of debris by the Event’s start time. • If you REQUIRE electricity for your booth, please bring a generator for your personal use! Please notify City personnel at application if you plan to bring a generator. This will allow us to place your booth where it is most safe and least interrupting to your visitors and fellow vendors. 8 | EVENT PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES (CONT’D) FOOD SALES/SAMPLES If you plan to give away or sell any food items that are not commercially produced and/or individually sealed at another location (not on-site), please contact City Hall to get the Health Inspection guidelines prior to your commitment to this Event. The Health Inspector does attend our events to conduct inspections, and he will require each food vendor to either be in compliance with the Health Code or cease sale of goods. All vendors wishing to sell or sample alcohol must do so under proper TABC licencing, to be determined per event with City of Justin code compliance staff. WEATHER • The weather is always a factor. Please prepare yourself and your booth for seasonal conditions. Your participation on the day of the event is ultimately your decision, but no refunds will be issued for no-shows. No exceptions. • Though weather conditions may impede certain scheduled attractions, the event will continue as planned unless officially cancelled in its entirety by the Justin City Manager or Mayor. If it is cancelled, it will not be rescheduled. In the event of cancellation, booth fees will be refunded. • Any announcements or notifications of cancellation will be posted on our “City of Justin, TX” Facebook Page ONLY at www.facebook.com/cityofjustintx. No personal announcements or emails should be expected. COURTESY & CLEAN-UP • If you must leave before the event is over, you must carry your booth items to your vehicle. • Under no circumstances can any vehicles be moved into the vendor area until after the event has ended and crowd has cleared. Violation may affect your vendor participation at future city events. • We will require that you be respectful of the Event grounds and property. This includes safe and proper care of your booth: keeping it free from debris and trash during operation, break-down, and upon your departure. Violation may affect your vendor participation at future city events. • This is a family-oriented event; please be polite and considerate of others. Slanderous comments to or about other vendors, discourteous behavior, foul language, etc., will not be tolerated. Violators risk immediate dismissal and forfeiture of booth fees. • Your participation in this event is strictly voluntary. • If you are displeased with any of its aspects before the event, please discuss your concerns with city staff for resolution. You have the option to cancel up to two weeks prior to the event for a full refund of your booth fee. • If you are displeased during the event, please voice your concerns to city staff. If you are unhappy about something relating to the event, please do not spread your negativity to other vendors; it is not productive to them, your patrons, or yourself. • If you are displeased after the event, you may contact city staff directly. If you do not have access to a valid email account, please check that box on the Application and provide us with an accurate mailing address. • Though we make all efforts to be as efficient as possible, it is ultimately your responsibility to contact City Staff with questions, concerns, or missing information regarding the event.
