Sunday Make our way to the West Midlands Safari Park, where we will take a drive-through safari to
see the wonderful wildlife up close. On the 4-mile safari drive enter the African plains and see the white
rhinos, zebras, ostriches and buffalo. Enter the land of the carnivores, with cheetahs, African wild dogs
and the majestic African lion, before finally reaching the elephant valley.
The rest of the day is then at your leisure to discover the park's many wildlife attractions, like penguin
cove, the sea lion theatre, hippo lake, meerkat mayhem and lemur woods, together with the Land of Living
Dinosaurs - the UK's largest animatronic dinosaur park. Leave the park late afternoon to make our way
back to West Wales.

Wednesday & Thursday Free time to explore, Sligo was crowned the ‘Land of Heart’s Desire’ by WB
Yeats, and the beauty of this region explains why he displayed such passion for his homeland. Begin with
a visit to Lissadell House, an elegant Regency mansion with striking interiors and galleries set in beautiful
grounds offering sweeping views of Sligo Bay, then finish with a drive around Lough Gill to finf Parkes
Castle.
Visit Donegal with free time to explore this lovely town. Why not visit the ruined Abbey of the Four
Masters, Donegal Castle on the banks of the River Eske, or try on some Irish tweeds at Magee’s. This
afternoon we enjoy the highlight of your tour with a trip up to the viewpoint on Slieve League to see these
incredible sea cliffs soaring 2000ft above the Atlantic – a truly wild and wonderful sight!

Our tour of Bristol & Bath includes a guided tour of Aerospace Bristol, a Bristol boat trip and a full
day in Bath.

spending the day at leisure where you can visit the remains of one of the finest spas of the ancient world,
The Roman Baths, before enjoying lunch in the Roman Baths Kitchen or Pump Room
Restaurant. Bath Abbey, the Jane Austen Museum or the Fashion Museum are other fine options.
In Bristol the day starts with a visit to the restored harbourside area. We take a 60 minute Bristol Packet Boat
Trip with commentary detailing the fascinating history of the area. Harbourside is now an attractive, modern
development filled with
restaurants & shops and attractions such as
Brunel’s SS Great Britain. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of Aerospace Bristol. You get the chance to
step aboard its star attraction, the iconic Concorde Alpha Foxtrot, the last of the supersonic
jets to be built and the last to fly.
Monday A morning scenic drive through the western fringes of the Cotswolds with a visit to Chelten-
ham

stop, we head to Logan Botanic Gardens, Scotland’s most exotic garden. In the afternoon we visit
delightful Castle Kennedy Gardens, one of Scotland’s hidden treasures, and home to a historical collection
of Rhododendrons, Championship Trees and rare species. Set in 75 acres around the ruins of Castle
Kennedy surrounded by the White and Black Lochs, the lily pond is a remarkable sight!
Robert Burns Birthplace Museum & Culzean Castle: A scenic sightseeing drive hugging Loch Ryan’s
eastern shore then up the Firth of Clyde coast with views of Ailsa Craig offshore, finally cutting inland to
Ayr. Visit the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum dedicated to Scotland’s favourite son and his unique
writing. In the afternoon we visit magnificent Culzean Castle, former seat of the Kennedy Clan and cared
for by the National Trust for Scotland.
Galloway Forest Park & Kitchen Coos and Ewes: This morning we journey inland to Galloway Forest Park
for a short stop at the Red Deer Range – look out for the Red and Roe deer and the birds of prey
patrolling the skies. We continue on to Clatteringshaws Visitor Centre, overlooking the loch of the same
name. In the afternoon we head to Kitchen Coos & Ewes at High Airyolland Farm for a guided experience
of Highland Cows (coos) in their natural environment. After our tour of the farm in our passenger trailer,
we return for a sheep shearing demonstration and enjoy a cream tea in the farmhouse kitchen before
departing home.

Isle of Wight: Today, we take a morning ferry from Southampton to the Isle of Wight. We make the

Today, we enjoy a fascinating private guided tour of Rockingham Castle, a castle with the rare status of

as a royal castle. On arrival we enjoy tea and coffee, followed by our tour, with time afterwards to explore
the gardens, grounds, church and ice house at leisure.
