2020 Mountain States CFC Charity Listing There’s no better time to Show Some Love. Together, we can Be the Face of Change. Show Love at Show Some Love MountainStatesCFC.org at MountainStatesCFC.org
Dear Colleagues: With the annual Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), members of the Federal family demonstrate that our commitment to public service extends far beyond the workplace. Last year, Federal employees and retirees participating in the CFC contributed more than $86 million to thousands of local, national, and international causes in both funds and volunteer time. Also, employees and retirees pledged $2.6 million more with the CFC Special Solicitation for people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you for all that support of the local, national, and international charities in the CFC and the people we serve together. During these unprecedented times, the need for charitable work in our communities, nation, and beyond are greater than ever. We ask you to please Be the Face of Change by making a financial or volunteer-time pledge to one or more of the many worthy charities in the campaign. Whether we use electronic pledging or traditional paper forms, the “people-to-people” mission remains the same: to promote and support philanthropy through a program that is employee-focused, cost-efficient, and effective in providing all Federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all. Together, we have and will continue to make a difference in countless ways. The CFC system increases transparency and ensures that the contributions from Federal, postal, and military personnel and retirees reach the people who need help the most. The benefits of the CFC include: • All Federal, postal, and military personnel have access to a single electronic giving platform that supports all charities across all CFC zones nationwide. • Retirees can use their monthly annuity and/or credit card to contribute with the CFC. In 2019, federal and military retirees pledged more than $1.8 million to their favorite charities. • CFC enables employees to give volunteer time in addition to monetary pledges to help their favorite charities. In the first three years of this change, Federal employees pledged more than 300,000 hours (valued at more than $6 million) to their favorite causes. All contributions, no matter how great or small, combined with the pledges of your Federal, postal, and military peers, create a lasting impact for those in need. Show Some Love and Be the Face of Change — and together, we will continue the Federal legacy of giving. Sincerely, Mountain States LFCC Members CFC Helpdesk Information: 833-232-2019 helpdeskcfc@kaptivategroup.com
