LETTER FROM THE CO-CHAIR CHAIRMEN It is a privilege to serve as Co-Chairmen Chairmen for the 2018 Southern California Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). As Federal workers, Postal service employees and Military personnel, our participation in the CFC is essential to the campaign which raises over $100 million for charities annually. Participating ating charities depend upon contributions to provide essential services here at home and around the world. Whether you give by payroll deduction, check, or credit/debit card, your pledge makes so much possible for so many. **Please know that no cash or money mon orders will be accepted this CFC season.** Last year, the federal workforce of our region donated more than $3 million dollars to hundreds of worthy charitable organizations, providing much needed services to those in need. We are excited to work with the new charities and federal agencies, post offices and military units. The 2018 campaign offers a wide choice of charities to choose from with more than 8,000 local, national and international charities. This includes charities outside our campaign area known as the “CFC All-Around-Giving” Giving” option, allowing personnel to pledge to charities in their hometown, or other locations they have a personal connection to. Only local charities that are in the Southern California CFC are in our print brochure. To fin findd a charity outside our campaign region, visit www.southerncalcfc.org and click DONATE (you do NOT need to make a pledge to search for charities). Select the search engine (Find A Charity) that will allow you to review charities BEFORE you make an online donation. You can place the charity’s code on your paper pledge card or donate online. On behalf of the Southern California CFC Local Federal Coordinating Committee (LFCC), (LFCC) we invite you to serve humanity this ye year ar by giving on behalf of the CFC and we look forward to making more powerful and positive impacts in our own communities than ever before. Thank you for your kindness and generosity in supporting our past campaigns. With your continued involvement, we can look forward to another successful year to give back to, and strengthen, our communities. Let’s “Show Some Love!” Thank you for making a difference, Arturo “Art” Madril Colonel USMC (Ret.)
