Practice your swimming, biking, and running skills while getting tips on how to improve. Sioux Falls Swim Team and ERIK’s Bike Shop will be on-site to assist with training. Bring your swimsuit, towel, bike, helmet, and running shoes each day. Tuesday’s class will focus on swimming and practice transitioning to bike. Wednesday’s class will focus on bike etiquette, riding the bike route, and transitioning to the run. ERIK’s Bike Shop will be at the training on Wednesday to help with free basic bike fits and bike safety checks. Thursday’s class will focus on transitioning from the bike and running the race route. Sioux Falls ReLeaf is a collaborative effort to raise private and public dollars to replenish the urban forest threatened by the EAB. The City has set a fundraising goal of $2.5 million over the next five years. Dollars raised will support tree planting on the City’s park system, as well as a cost-share program designs to assist homeowners, as they replant trees in their public parking strips. The theater company will produce eight productions to be presented during June and July. By using skits familiar and not so familiar, these shows will focus primarily on children’s stories, beliefs, and everyday happenings. They will involve fairy tales, music characterizations, costumes, dance, and the audience! Performances are free and open to children of every age.
