2018 Friends Message from the President, General Manager and Artistic Director We are very excited to present another year of new and amazing arts events in 2019! Another festival? Why not? When Launceston is so keen on musicals, we are pleased to host the inaugural Australian Musical Theatre Festival, including two events at the Princess, plus workshops and a big star name, yet to be revealed. We have so enjoyed 2018 as Co-Convenors of Friends of Theatre North at the We can tell you that one of our top attractions in 2019 is the stage musical Princess, getting more people to come to the theatre and supporting not just The Sapphires from HIT Productions.
