News from the Travelwise Team This term our Travelwise Team have had fun in- vestigating what’s going on around our school in terms of safe travel to and from school. We also enjoyed doing our SDAS (slow down around schools) campaign with the police. Just a friendly reminder that although we do not have speed signs around our school, please slow down for the safety of all our children. Thank you to Mrs Solomone for co-ordinating and supporting our Travelwise Team! Garden to Table Earlier this term our Mr Cuthers and our Garden to table students harvested kumara from our school garden. Some of the kumara was used in our Year 7 & 8 hangi fundraiser and others were used by stu- dents as part of their cooking with Ms Lunjevich. We have even more kumara left over to use at a later date!
