Over the last few years we have been rebuilding from scratch the Tundra Buggy Lodge. Last year MEMBERSHIPS we rolled out Dan’s Diner, a new dining hall with enormous windows and skylights throughout, a feature plating station for Chef Jared and his team to showcase their amazing talents, and a fully automatic and self-serve Franke commercial coffee system. We continue to improve the Tundra Buggy Lodge guest experience and can’t wait to host you there! Historically we’ve utilized the Tundra Buggy Lodge during our polar bear touring season and over the last few years have had tremendous success incorporating Thanadelthur, the Tundra Buggy Lodge lounge, as an aurora viewing destination. New for 2019, we will be delivering our northern lights and culinary experiences at Dan’s Diner, which is also the Tundra Buggy Lodge dining hall. Our northern lights programs occur on the west side of the Churchill River, a completely different landscape than Polar Bear Point and Cape Churchill. In 2019 we introduce a new stand-alone adventure in southern Manitoba’s Riding Mountain National Park. These classic tours includes game drives in search of moose, bison, black bear and elk, as well as the numerous other wildlife found in the area. Finally, continuing with our sustainability efforts, this past year we are proud to have introduced a lanyard recycling program, compostable packaging for our Tundra Buggy and in-flight meals, as well as LED lighting throughout the Tundra Buggy Lodge. PARTNERSHIPS 2019 is going to be a great year!
