Bike & Boat Intro Intro Bike & Boat BIKE & NICE PEOPLE LOVE BOAT CYCLING A bike by day for transport, a boat by night for meals and a good sleep Your barge or river cruiser is your float- ing hotel and follows the cycling stages along the river. Fancy a lazy day in? – Well, there’s your home away from home. All boats are fully crewed: a skipper at the helm, and catering staff to prepare breakfast, a slap-up dinner and all you need for your packed lunch. Our Bike & Boat tours can be enjoyed either on a group tour accompanied by a tour leader, or self-guided. MADE BY GIROLIBERO We have been running Bike and Barge tours since 1998, offering the classic Netherlands. Ten years later we shipped the “Bike and Barge” formula over to Italy – quite literally. There were no suitable boats available here for this type of holiday, so we decided to buy and transport the Vita Pugna barge over from Holland. In 2011 we launched our second barge, the 4-star “floating hotel” Ave Maria which now sails along the waterways of Northern Italy to Venice. Since 2011 we also exclusive charter two romantic barges in Provence-Camargue. We are now proud to say that the Bike and Boat holidays in southern Europe are… “made by Girolibero”! 16 Girolibero - via Conforto da Costozza, 7 - I-36100 Vicenza - T. +39 0444 330724 - booking@girolibero.it - www.girolibero.com Girolibero - via Conforto da Costozza, 7 - I-36100 Vicenza - T. +39 0444 330724 - booking@girolibero.it - www.girolibero.com 17
