THE WELLINGTON SCHOOL 2015 SUMMER OPTIONS WELCOME to Wellington Summer Options Create lasting memories while learning new skills, developing emerging interests, and having fun. Wellington Summer Options offers a relaxed atmosphere with caring, creative teachers who provide the perfect environment for exploration. Choose from full-day and half-day options. You can come for one week, one class, or the entire summer. Create the schedule that best suits your family. We will be happy to help you develop a dynamic schedule for your child. We have many new classes this year. Hands-on projects that integrate scientific skills with practical application promote engaged learning! You will also find a wide array of new art classes, a special class for empowering middle school girls, and a variety of engineering classes. Our Little Jags Program for 3-year olds returns at the end of the summer to help with transitioning these little ones for school in the fall. Many popular classes are returning this summer. Three sessions of Horseback Riding will extend the experience beyond riding and horse care skills. Stage Combat, Aerial Arts, Tennis, and the popular Math Basketball Jam led by former OSU and NBA player Lawrence Funderburke are favorites you’ll see again. It’s all part of the Wellington summer experience! We’re sure you’ll find programs that will instill curiosity, fun, and the love of learning in your children. Here are some examples of how to schedule one week programs: Early Childhood Explorations: Thematic preschool and kindergarten classes are available morning and/or afternoon. We will make crazy concoctions, create exploding glitter, and make goopy gak! August 3: Little Jags Option #119 Come and learn to be a junior scientist!
