13 Advantages of Managed WordPress Hosting Tips for your websites, freelancers and agencies Author: Michael Firnkes « RAIDBOXES Managed WordPress hosting can give your websites a decent boost. But what do you as a freelancer, agency, blogger or company need to watch out for? How much performance do you actually need? How can you automate less- than-fun processes and make your websites faster? Which WordPress hosting provider is right for you? We navigate the labyrinth for you. With the success of WordPress and WooCommerce, the range of options for the right web hosting is expanding as well. Nearly every service provider claims to offer “WordPress hosting”. But the packages don‘t always match up to what they promise. This book tells you what you need to keep in mind as you make your selection, whether you’re running your own websites or operating on behalf of a customer. Before we get into the advantages of managed hosting for WordPress and WooCommerce, what exactly are the options for web hosting? And what are the differences between them? 3
1. Shared Hosting for WordPress Shared hosting is the term for multiple customers being accommodated on a single web server. In some cases, such a server may be the host to a vast number of websites. You can use a Reverse IP Domain Check to check which domains appear on your IP. Many private bloggers are familiar with such webspaces or homepage kits from major web hosters that don‘t specialise in WordPress. See our WordPress Hosting Comparison with test results on performance and website speed. If price has to be your first priority, then the cheapest packages will be what you’re looking for. However, this comes at the expense of other factors: • Performance: In most cases, speed will be much lower than in a professional hosting package. We’ll get more into that later. • Reliability: The package performance can also fluctuate quite a bit. I encountered this with my previous blogs; sometimes they would load re- latively quickly, but they were also often really slow. And there were longer downtimes. Your customers and Google will only forgive that so often. • Coverage: Many products are extremely limited in their functionality. Low webspace, limited databases, PHP restrictions, poor caching or slow CPU power will all keep you easily frustrated, especially if traffic to your website increases. • Security: Most web hosters are armed when it comes to this area. But there can still be a security risk if a website on the same server is hacked. • SEO: Does shared hosting have a negative impact on search en- gine optimisation? This is often the subject of discussion in profes- sional circles. Indirect factors, such as worse performance, absolutely play a role here, however. Google has repeatedly made this clear. 4
Flexibility is another factor. Cheap packages and even homepage kits make it almost impossible to make your own adjustments. You’ll eventually pay the price when you need special functions and end up having to use plugins for WordPress or WooCommerce, or if you want to set up interfaces to third-party providers (CRM, ERP, bookkeeping etc.). I myself can thank shared web hosting for a few grey hairs. This is mostly due to a lack of support. More than a few times, I‘ve had to wait a week or more for a response. Companies depend on their websites. When there is an outage, they need help in minutes. Are you a freelancer or offering services for WordPress? Then the poor support will reflect back on you. Note: It’s a simple maths problem: do you only pay a two-figure sum for hosting each year? How is the web hoster supposed to pay a good support team with that? They figure that in the best-case scenario, you won’t report anything. Or that the answer to your question can be cobbled together from existing fragments of text. More on this in the Hosting Comparison. Major shared hosters frequently do not offer any specialised hosting for specific Content Management Systems (CMS) in their standard packages. Instead, they focus on providing simple solutions for all systems. They can do a lot of things well, but no one thing perfectly. Most of them are limited to the one-click installation of CMS. For example, WordPress. Once it’s installed, the customer is often left to their own devices with the system, rather than having the support of special WordPress tools for ongoing operation. 5
A small part of the WordPress tools from RAIDBOXES These sorts of offers are mostly frowned upon by WordPress professionals, for the reasons described above. Shared hosting can work for a purely personal blog with very manageable visitor numbers. For professional websites and online shops, you’ll need a different approach. See the tips below, as well as our article Factors for WooCommerce Hosting. I also recommend reading our e-book, WooCommerce for Professionals. 2. Virtual Private Server (VPS) With this model, multiple virtual machines are stored on one physical server. each with their own operating system. The VPSes can be individually managed by means of root access. In this scenario, you decide for yourself which appli- cations should run on the machine. This is a particularly good idea if you rely on somewhat exotic systems or unusual configurations. Or if you’re a hardcore 6
coder who likes to be in control of everything. However, running a VPS is time-consuming. You also have to have excellent technical skills and constantly check your system and keep it current. Otherwise individual components play off one another, or the virtual server can even become a security risk. Even if the web hosting providers close off virtual machines from each other, you or your employees still have full responsibility. This can quickly devolve into a threat to your livelihood in the event of any damage. Small and medium-sized companies eschew the VPS model for this reason, especially those without large internal IT departments with plenty of resources. For those companies, the managed server is a good alternative. Tip: If someone in your company or a service provider is in charge of maintaining a VPS, you will definitely need to find a replacement for emergency situations. This could be other employees or a qualified agency. Time and time again, companies find themselves spinning their wheels for a few days because their access of passwords aren’t available. 3. Managed Servers for WordPress A managed server combines the advantages of the other two models. It is continuously supervised by the web hoster. This includes both the operating system and all the technology in the background, for example. However, it can also include components of your Content Management System if necessary. 7
In most cases, managed servers are designed so that managing your web projects requires almost no additional work. With RAIDBOXES, you get all the important tools included in the package. They are especially easy to operate. These could be server-side caching, automatic backups, free SSL or a one-click staging environment (for testing new functions and plugins). They also make the simultaneous administration of multiple WordPress pages exceptionally efficient. This is not just relevant for freelancers, WP professionals and agencies. Tip: Do you develop WordPress or WooCommerce pages for custom- ers? Host free now – with our FREE DEV Program. You’ll also earn up to €1,500 for every new customer. Managed servers are • Relatively cheap, especially if you factor in the hours of work you’ll save • Protected against gaps in security thanks to updates managed by the operator • Flexible enough for most Content Management Systems and purposes • Offer you comprehensive support If you use a managed server, you’ll get a clearly defined piece of hardware that is just for your website. This means you don‘t have to share with other websites, which in turn means you’ll always have access to the same performance. This brings us to the technical advantages - and what you should look out for. Ideally, your managed server is specifically geared towards the CMS that your website(s) use. 8
Same as with the special offers for WordPress and WooCommerce from RAIDBOXES. We only do what we can do exceptionally well. 3.1 Managed Hosting for Freelancers and Bloggers If you’re a freelancer, it comes down to your area of work. Are you a developer or professional for WordPress and WooCommerce? Then you probably wouldn’t have too much trouble setting up and administrating a server yourself. But do you have the time for ongoing maintenance, too? You’re deep in the middle of a customer product and your web server announces a critical update? Then it’s nice for central tasks to be able to run automatically in the background, or to be able to administer your WordPress instances with the press of a button. More on this in chapter 4. Freelancers and bloggers in more creative fields will be working from the start with web hosting that doesn’t require them to concern themselves with technical details. They have outstanding support they can turn to at any time to have all their questions answered quickly and directly, possibly even through chat. Shared hosting, with its often anonymous call centres, is not suitable for this. Tip: Whether you’re coming from a technical or a creative corner, it’s very helpful if your hoster is firmly entrenched in the WordPress scene. At RAIDBOXES, we regularly sponsor WordCamps in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This means you always have the ability to approach us right on site. 9
WordPress founder Matt Mullenweg at RAIDBOXES, at the Europe WordCamp in Berlin 3.2 Managed Hosting for agencies Hand on heart: Even agencies don‘t always have the expertise to manage a web server themselves or dedicated servers single-handedly. Or the skills are there, but the person in charge of doing it is completely bogged down with customer projects. Technical competence is a rare and expensive commodity in agencies. Responsibility for hosting can be outsourced very nicely. The advantages of the model: • Everything from one source: With the right platform, you can create WordPress pages and collaborate with your clients much more effi- ciently. And you wrap everything up by delivering the finished product seamlessly to your customers. As we continue, I’ll show you which functions your web hoster should offer to relieve your burden. • Developing without risk: Use a free account for agencies and WP professionals. Then you don‘t have to make advance payments for new customers. 10
• Delivery: Deliver your project to your customer with just a few clicks as soon as it can go online. You don’t have to write out any invoices, but can stay on as an administrator if you need to. • Commission: Simultaneously earn a lucrative commis- sion for your hosting referral, same as with RAIDBOXES. If you have a web hosting partner you can confide in at any time, you’ll be collaborating with them regularly. First, this means you don’t have to constantly look for a new hosting recommendation for your customers. Second, you’ll be working with a familiar interface and a single account. You can even save existing projects as templates and reuse them with pre-configured plugins and themes. This saves working time that you can then pass on to your customers. Or put that extra time into design and development. All of this will save you hours or even days per customer. Right from the start of development. If you have maintenance contracts with your customers, this is an especially good way to calculate your service packages. With managed hosting, you know exactly what work still needs to be done - and how long it will take. 3.3 Managed Hosting for companies Companies often struggle to assess the quality of web hosting offers. This is especially the case if they don’t have an internal IT department to fall back on. Even the requirements analysis proves difficult: How much memory and disk space does the reserved server need? How many CPU cores can there be? And what do I do if a bunch of visitors suddenly swamp my website, e.g. if my website gets mentioned in the media? 11
I’ll be addressing these questions later on. You can also check out our article on What to do when WordPress experiences heavy load. There are four options for companies to get help here: • Search for suitable freelancers for WordPress and WooCommerce. The WP community is a good place to look. See our sources and notes on this subject. • Specialised agencies are also adequately well versed in the subject. However, you’ll need to make sure that WordPress or WooCommerce is part of their core business. Have them give you references and re- ach out to them. With both systems, you can‘t really just maintain them casually. • Take a poll of the entrepreneurs you know: Do they rely on Word- Press? Can they recommend a service provider or freelancer? • Use recommendation platforms such as Trusted Shops to find out more about a hoster’s service quality. Your choice of new web hoster should also offer you a non-binding test run with performance review, and help you migrate from WordPress and WooCommerce. This is a prime opportunity to assess the quality of the support team. Tip: Copy your WordPress page directly with our free RAIDBOXES Migrator Plugin. Otherwise we can migrate your page for you within two business days at no charge. Your website will still be fully accessible during the migration. 12
Rating of RAIDBOXES among Trusted Shops 4. Advantages of Managed WordPress Hosting Speed, savings, support, security... managed hosting for WordPress and WooCommerce offers a few nice perks. But only if you look for the right features when choosing a web hoster. We explain the most important details, step by step. Tip: Still have questions? Or a different opinion? Want to test some specific points? Get in touch with us any time at https://raidboxes.io/ en/kontakt/. 4.1 Performance & SEO Websites and shops need to be fast. Otherwise, the rate of abandonment among your users will rise rapidly. But the consequences won’t stop there. A single extra second of loading time can reduce the conversion rate by 13
7% and page views by 11%. Not only will a negative user experience cause higher abandonment during the checkout process, it will also bring down the recommendation rate. Furthermore, speed is an important factor for search engine optimisation (SEO). Google now punishes slow portals without mercy. Optimised managed hosting takes the majority of performance optimisation off your shoulders - without you having to lend a hand. To do this, it should include: • Server-side caching: Particularly efficient caching is active befo- re WordPress takes command. This allows websites to be delivered with exceptional speed. The advantage: You don’t need a separate caching plugin, nor do you have to worry about complex settings. • Special WordPress infrastructure: Your hosting should be spe- cially geared towards WordPress and WooCommerce, and not to other Content Management Systems. More on that later. • High-performance servers: An important optimisation measure for hosting is bulking up the CPU cores. After all, the server has to be able to handle the heavy load from high numbers of visitors and the database queries that come with them. Your web hoster should provide enough flexibility and corresponding packages here. • PHP memory limit: A higher PHP memory limit is an absolute neces- sity for more complex sites and online shops. This is the only way the server can withstand big and simultaneous processes, like when visi- tor traffic becomes heavy. See our Tips for heavy load in WordPress. • SSD hard drives: Access times are considerably lower with SSD hard drives, even when huge numbers are accessing simultaneously. This makes an SSD the ideal turbo boost for all your WordPress projects. • Resource compression: For even faster page views. Ide- ally with the latest compression standard, Brotli. 14
As for the CPU core factor, imagine that the server for your WordPress site or your WooShop is a chip shop. Everyone who works in the chip shop represents a CPU core. If there’s only one assistant working behind the counter, only one query can be processed at a time. This isn’t a problem at first when there are few customers. But when so many people come in that the chip seller is swamped with requests, more workers (meaning more CPU cores) have to be brought in. The more of them in the chip shop, the more orders can be processed at once. Important not only for WooCommerce: increasing CPU cores. With that said, however, it’s important to understand that having more CPU cores does not automatically improve the loading time of your site. After all, 15
the individual cores are working equally fast. Instead, increasing the cores ensures that more requests can be processed at once and your portal or shop is not overloaded. You can’t always optimise the speed of WordPress in the way theoretically possible. When it comes to shared hosting rates, the average user has little to no influence on the performance of their website. Only expert professional page operators are able to implement the appropriate server settings on their own, and that’s if they even have access. With managed hosting, things are different. Our customers’ WordPress sites run up to 400% faster after switching to RAIDBOXES. And that’s without any additional optimisation measures. Because our hosting is specially geared towards WordPress. Get in touch with us and test us out with no commitment: https://raidboxes.io. We’ll show you the difference and check your performance. Tip: Alternatively, see for yourself how much power your project needs with our Performance calculators for WordPress and WooCommerce. For blogs, companies, agencies, freelancers and web shops alike. You can also read through the tips in our Performance e-book. 16
What performance does your website need? Our calculator will show you. 4.2 Time savings Time is the biggest resource for creative minds. We know this from our own experience - RAIDBOXES itself originated from an agency. With a good managed server, you can save several hours of work per month, such as in administrating and optimising your WordPress sites. This allows you to concentrate on what you enjoy and what brings in money: running and developing websites, Optimising your shop with WooCommerce or blogging. But what exactly does a high-quality managed server take off your hands? Among other things: • Installation: Create or clone new WP websites in a short amount of time with your dashboard. This includes SSL, caching, a backup system and developer tools. 17
• Templates: Apply saved WordPress templates. Templates keep your plugins, themes and favourited settings pre-configured and ready to use whenever you want for starting a new project. This is especially useful and time-saving for agencies and freelancers. • Optimisation: Caching, a server-side compression or the use of HTTP/2 and the optimal PHP version are all standard components of high-quality packages. This eliminates the need to look for and configure laborious caching, backup and security plugins. See our ar- ticle on the advantages and disadvantages of security plugins. • Test environment: Make sure there’s a separate environment inclu- ded for WordPress Staging. You should always test new plugins and themes before taking them live. This also applies to new versions of WordPress, WooCommerce and extensions. • Updates: Let WordPress make automatic updates as needed, and for your extensions in some cases. Manage plugins and themes right from the hosting dashboard. • Single sign-on: Log into your project’s WordPress backend with just one click. This means you can enter your secure, 64-character pass- words and then “forget” them, giving you extra protection from brute force attacks. RAIDBOXES also has one-click WordPress installation: as soon as you click “Create BOX” on our dashboard, a new WordPress page installs itself, fully automatically, in a matter of seconds. Combined with the clones, your WordPress templates and the staging, you’ve got a powerful array of tools to hand. They’ll make a huge difference in the time you spend setting up, administrating and developing. 18
4.3 Cost reduction At first glance, managed WordPress hosting looks more expensive on paper than shared hosting. However, this is deceptive. Do a bit of maths, maybe make a tally sheet. How many hours do you need a month for the following?: • Finding and resolving errors in web hosting. I’ll address this later under “Support”. • Manually setting up data bases and WordPress installations. Pi- cking out and installing the same extensions over and over. • Installing plugins and themes, including setting the right opti- ons. Do you find yourself doing these fairly often for WooCommer- ce or SEO plugins? Then you know how much time it eats up. • Having to laboriously test in a separate instance so that you can make changes in the live system once again. • Access and administrate multiple WordPress projects at once, with different hosters in the worst case. • Show your customers changes on the website without ha- ving to take it live. Or deliver a project to them. It all adds up to quite a lot across all your websites and projects, especially if you’ve still been working with shared hosting or a self-managed server up to now. Now multiply that by your hourly rate. Or calculate how much you could earn in these hours. You’ll quickly reach a sum in the upper three-figure range, or higher - per month. With that in mind, high-quality managed hosting suddenly looks a lot more reasonable compared to the less safe alternatives. 19
Tip: Are you a freelancer? If you are, calculating your hourly rates correctly is one of your core tasks. Jan Tissler sheds more light on this in his article, Avoiding freelancer mistakes. With managed hosting, you can save even more on costs: • Less downtime and lost earnings from your website through correctly testing in the staging environment or quickly restoring from backups. • Avoid security risks posed by late updates to WordPress, WooCommerce, plugins etc. • Increase your traffic with better rankings on Google Through performant web hosting. • Switch to a higher package at short notice when you have a rush of visitors - as long as your hoster supports it. With RAIDBOXES, you’ll also save on costs for extra caching plugins, backup solutions, security plugins, SSL certificates or a separate test environment. Our price calculator can show you which package is right for which purposes. 4.4 Support Something not working with your hosting? Something that impacts your website? Or is it loading really slowly? Every one of us is probably familiar with this situation. Your heart rate shoots up past 180. If you don‘t get reasonable advice within a few minutes, you’re left stranded in these cases. Shared hosting for WordPress tends to deliberately skimp on support. A private server will even pass all the troubleshooting on to you. If you want to sleep soundly at night, look for a web hoster who can prove that they offer top support. Personally, in your language, in your country, during your work hours. And not just through anonymous e-mail, but through multiple channels. 20
Our customers chime in on RAIDBOXES’ support The extended support of managed hosters is often accompanied by free additional services. For example, with • Migration assistance • Page optimisation support • Plugin recommendations for your entire personal system configuration Managed hosters also have some flexibility in meeting your needs. This means, for example, that you can quickly negotiate unconventional special security solutions or services at different rates. 21
With an anonymous mega-hoster, however, this is impossible in most cases, if you can even find the right person to contact about it. 4.5 Security The security of your WordPress website or online shop is extremely important, as is data protection. If your website is hacked or if customer data is made public, this could threaten your livelihood - whether you’re “just” the service provider or the operator. Your managed WordPress hosting should have the following to minimise your risk as much as possible: • Integrated SSL: SSL encryption is an absolute must for any professional website. Ideally, the SSL certificates are included in the hosting package - this reduces your expenditure. • Hacker and malware protection: Each of your WordPress websites should run independently of the other sites. This minimises the potential danger of attacks considerably. If, however, the worst should happen, then your web hoster should recommend a service provider to clean up your infiltrated site(s) quickly and without fuss. • Automatic and manual backups: These allow you to quickly retrieve a clean backup in the event of damage. Because of this, the process of returning data should be designed to be as simple as possible. • Logins: Built-in login protection is an effective agent against brute force attacks. • Extensions: Use as few plugins as possible. It’s a good idea if important functions like backups or caching are integrated directly into hosting. Automatic updates for plugins also make your WordPress installation more secure. This is because you don‘t have to take an active role when it comes 22
to critical security gaps. However, these updates are not entirely without controversy, because you can’t test new versions ahead of time. Note: Even with automatic updates, you always need to keep an eye on your portals or shops. In the worst case scenario, they won’t function properly after an update. However, WordPress and WooCommerce maintenance can easily be outsourced. Administration on the hosting dashboard as an alternative to automatic updates. 4.6 Business Risk Your websites - or those of your customers - are extremely important to you. That’s why you need the highest performance, stability and a competent contact partner. With these, you don’t have to worry about taking care of the technology in the background yourself. Managed hosting is an especially good 23
fit for companies, agencies and freelancers who aren‘t very well versed in technology. If there’s a problem with hosting, you need to be able to trust that it will be handled quickly. Without your assistance. Are you a WP professional? Then you’ve also got more important things to do than grapple with server configurations, ongoing performance optimisation, manual administration of your projects and manual backups. In his Guide for freelancers, Jan Tissler writes: Freelancers should think of their activity as a business, and treat it accordingly. It may not feel like entrepreneurship at first. But the more professionally you handle matters, the higher the chance it has of working out in the long run. Passing on the task of web hosting to a competent partner will reduce the risk of outages in your websites. Are you developing a project for someone else, and not just yourself? Then it’s especially important that your customers perceive you as a professional and reliable partner. Pages that load slowly or can‘t be reached are extremely counter-productive. And your counterpart sincerely won‘t care if it’s your fault or that of a poor hoster. Tip: Look for packages that don’t automatically extend your contract or require a notice period for cancellation. This is another positive that reduces your financial risk. Should you find yourself unsatisfied, then you can move your WordPress. Good hosters will help you do this - at no charge. A solid web hoster will also make sure that your WordPress sites are protected from hacker attacks. They will monitor the server for you and also be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Including weekends and holidays. No matter 24
which hosting model you end up choosing, make sure that the servers are located in your country. This guarantees maximum speed and GDPR-compliant data protection. 4.7 Calculation and scalability Preparing a website for a zillion visitors or thousands of page views a minute is anything but easy. But this kind of visitor stampede can happen fairly quickly. It could be the result of a marketing campaign, or your project getting a mention in the media. Special high-performance plans are designed to help your websites withstand heavy visitor traffic. Have you had a manageable number of visitors up to now, but think that it could become more at any time? Then you’ll want to start off with a more modest plan. Look for a hoster who allows you to choose a higher level package whenever you want with just a few clicks. And then change it back again. As a service provider, you can pass on the costs of hosting to your customers. But you do need to factor them into your calculations. And you need to give your clients reasons for why cheap web hosting ultimately ends up being more expensive. See our article, WooCommerce for freelancers. The points in it also apply to WordPress. 4.8 Efficiency and operation Not all managed hosting is created equal. In addition to performance, your satisfaction will rise and fall in direct relation to how easy it is to operate the web hoster’s dashboard and which functions it supports. The boxes principle that RAIDBOXES uses allows you to get a quick overview 25
of all your projects - without the annoyance of switching between different channels and accounts. But that’s just the beginning of what difference good administration can make: • Templates: Clone a WordPress site from an existing backup or save your permanent templates to make starting a new WordPress project more efficient. • Access to WordPress: Colleagues or customers should be able to access your WordPress sites in one click. Perhaps to test them or to accept them. • Changing owners: Finished your project? In that case, you want to transfer sites to a new owner - such as your customer - without compli- cation. And when you do, you’ll still need admin access. • Databases and FTP: During development, you need direct access to the MySQL databases or SFTP access to websites. • Error logs: It’s also important for developers to have quick access to log files such as WP_DEBUG_LOG, ACCESS LOG or ERROR LOG. Automated processes are also expedient. These include the one-click installation of WordPress, data backup retrieval at the press of a button and support for switching from another project or hoster. Existential for developers: a free, fail-safe Secure Shell Host (SSH) with pre- installed WP-CLI and Git (included in our STARTER plan and up). This saves valuable time in developing your websites. 26
Copy your WordPress sites from your templates. 4.9 Test environment and backups It is an act of gross negligence to operate WordPress or WooCommerce without a separate test environment and backups. Use the wrong setting in a plugin or a new extension that’s incompatible with everything else, and you‘ve just crippled your website. In some circumstances, it isn’t easy to undo, either. With WordPress staging you can test changes on a copy of your site in a realistic server environment. And all without the risk of causing damage to your active WordPress site. If you‘re satisfied with the result, you can transmit the changes to your live page with one click. 27
This works especially well if you are: • trying out a new theme or design for your project • making changes on CSS • wanting to test other plugin settings • installing a plugin that fundamentally changes your database Did a major error manage to sneak into your live portal anyway? Import the wrong data sets? Or did your website get hacked? Then you need GDPR- compliant backups saved on secure servers. There are good backup plugins for WordPress. But it‘s not always easy to configure them correctly. The same is true of selecting save points and restoring backups. With RAIDBOXES, a complete backup system is integrated into every BOX. It stores your data on a secure system. With our tool you can: • save not only the database but your entire website and server set- tings. You have full access to all save points at all times. • These can be restored in a matter of seconds without any support. • We make a fully automatic backup of your WordPress websites eve- ry night. Depending on your plan, they will be saved for between seven and 30 days - and manual backups will be saved permanently. • Want to play it safe and save a version locally? Download all your backups for free as needed. • Want to start another, similar WordPress project? Simply clone a new BOX from a backup. Or use your saved templates. Backup plugins also take up extra storage space on your webspace. With us, your backups will be kept on their own server in Frankfurt. And not on your WordPress installation. 28
If your WordPress login is no longer feasible, then you can restore your website with one click. Without having to look for the backup. 5. Recommendation and support Standard hosters are very cheap. But as soon as a problem crops up - and that can quickly become the case with WordPress hosting - you’re on your own. If performance and support are priorities for you, you should absolutely go for WordPress-optimised managed hosting. Even WP professionals and agencies save quite a few hours of work, and thus money, with the tools included. Want to do something good for yourself, but for your fellow people as well? RAIDBOXES provides hosting that is not only climate-neutral, but climate-positive. If you run a website or an online shop, you need all kinds of resources. We want to go the opposite direction.
