Rules & Regulations The Horse Show Management reserves the right to limit entries, to refuse, accept conditionally, or to cancel any entries, disqualify any riders or exhibitors, prohibit exhibition of entries, cancel awards, prizes, change any course, reschedule any class, after due notice to the exhibitors; to change rings or rotate judges; to change specifications in the class as competition warrants. Each horse entered in the competition will be under the control of competition management, but the management will in no case be responsible for any loss or damage that may occur, and it shall be a condition of entry that each exhibitor hold the competition and the officials, employees, sponsors of the competition blameless for any loss or accident to his/her horse(s), employee(s), or equipment. The same horse may compete in the Franktown Meadows Hunter Derby and Non-Pro Hunter Classic at Franktown Meadows. EVERY CLASS OFFERED HEREIN WHICH IS COVERED BY THE RULES AND SPECIFICATIONS OF THE CURRENT USEF RULE BOOK WILL BE CONDUCTED AND JUDGED IN ACCORDANCE THERE WITH. entrieS Entries will close on May 21, 2021. After the closing date of entries, STALL FEES WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. After the show starts, with the official show vet’s certificate only, entry refunds will be given, minus a $50 scratch fee and fees for classes already held prior to notification at the horse show office, whether exhibited in or not. StAbling Stall Fees $300 per stall. Permanent stalls are 12 x 12 with doors. Horses are allowed to move in the Tuesday prior to the start of the weekend's classes. Rules & Regulations ShArPS & MedicAl wASte In accordance with Federal Waste Tracking Act of 1989 which restricts the disposal of medical waste, Bio Hazardous Medical Waste Containers will be provided in the stable area. All exhibitors and their agents will be responsible for the proper disposal of this waste. FArrier A farrier will be on call during all competition days. The farrier’s number will be posted at the show office. VeterinAriAn A veterinarian will be on call during all competition days. All horses (competing and not competing) that enter the property will be required to present the following required documents: A current negative coggins test A current health certificate is required A current proof of vaccination record ProtectiVe heAdgeAr It is compulsory for all persons at Federation licensed hunter, jumper, or hunter/jumper competitions, when mounted anywhere on the competition grounds, to wear properly fastened protective headgear which meets or exceeds ASTM/SEI standards for equestrian use and carries the SEI tag. Rules & Regulations Schooling Thursday All Day: Ticketed warm-ups will be offered. Please wear your back number for ticketed warm-ups. The back number worn will be charged $30. Friday - Sunday Until 7:00 am: Grass and Sand Rings available for flat work Motorized Vehicles Minors who do not have a valid driver’s license which allows them to operate a motorized vehicle in the state in which they reside will not be permitted to operate a motorized vehicle of any kind including, but not limited to, golf carts, motorcycles, scooters, or farm utility vehicles on the competition grounds of licensed competitions. Minors who have a valid temporary license may operate the above described motorized vehicles as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a valid driver’s license. The parent(s), legal guardian(s), or individual who signs the entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor operating a motorized vehicle in violation of this rule are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses, or actions resulting from operation. Violations of this rule be cause for sanctions against the parent(s), guardian(s) and/or trainer(s) who are responsible for the child committing the offense. Penalties may include exclusion of the child, parent(s), guardian(s), and/or trainer(s) from the competition grounds for the remainder of the competition and charges being filed against any of the above individuals in accordance with Chapter 6. Wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule. The prize money will be given within 30 days of the conclusion of the event. $5,000 Non-Pro Hunter Classic Paid to 8th: 1st - 25%, 2nd - 20%, 3rd - 15%, 4th - 10%, 5th - 10%, 6th - 10%, 7th - 5%, 8th - 5% $10,000 Franktown Meadows Hunter Derby Paid to 12th: 1st - 30%, 2nd - 22%, 3rd - 13%, 4th - 8%, 5th - 6%, 6th - 5%, 7th - 4%, 8th - 3%, 9th - 3%, 10th - 2%, 11th - 2%, 12th - 2% $2,500 JR/AM High Score $1,250 will be awarded to highest scoring junior and amateur rider participating in the Franktown Meadows Hunter Derby.
