Issue 367 Gourmet Revive Leisure Park K-town is no doubt a foodie’s haven. From the tempting Text by: Esparsh Sarawagi street food which is a delight to one's senses to the succulent, rich and flavorsome cuisines served in impeccable and charming fine-dining ambiance, this city never ceases to impress you. A newly opened venue at Mahalaxmisthan, Revive Leisure Park is a place offering halls to conduct meetings and seminars in its quiet, serene ambiance that fits professionals and relaxed friend gatherings alike. In addition to their fine dining, their services include conference and meeting halls, and also a gym, spa, sauna, jacuzzi, badminton court, swimming pool, zumba, and crossfit along with bed & breakfast, though a number of these are still under construction. At present, their main highlight is their restaurant which is known for its rustic atmosphere, open fronted kitchen, live music and delectable dishes. Paneer Chilli Especially for vegetarians and particularly paneer lovers, paneer chilli is a dish that can be enjoyed anytime. The chef made sure it was full of crunchy and freshly chopped Pepper Garlic Chicken veggies along with pan-fried pieces of paneer, giving the dish a The pepper garlic chicken with its aromatic, delicious refreshing flavor. Veg Wrap Lettuce These vegetarian wraps from Revive are such a delicious plant-based meal! It was the first time I was trying veg lettuce wraps and I actually didn’t know how to eat them, but I soon learned to put together all the chopped fillings and spoon them into my lettuce like a little lettuce boat and eat it all at once. These vegan wraps included sautéed onions, mushrooms, zucchini and sesame sauce which made for a surprisingly amazing mashup. Tip from the chef: spread the almond butter sauce onto the lettuce leaf first and then fill it up with your veggies—this will help the fillings to stay in. Satay Chicken The perfectly grilled chicken served with creamy peanut sauce here at Revive Leisure Park took me back to those small take-out stalls in Bangkok where the marinade had the proper amalgamation of sweet, spicy and salty flavors making it a crucial part of the dish. The golden- brown chicken bites had that smoky savour which went so well with the spices and peanut sauce. Drinks Just because a mocktail is non-alcoholic doesn't mean it has to be boring! This is what came to my mind after trying the drinks here. We were served two of the drinks at the end. The first one, Whitevilla, is their signature mocktail made with a quick mix of vanilla ice-cream, pineapple and mango juice along with a garnish of lemon at the end. The second drink was called Sunset Glow, made with a mix of pineapple juice and a blend of sugar syrup and lemon juice, and so tasty that you won’t mind it being alcohol-free. 12

Issue 367 People The Art Of Confident Living Text By: Esparsh Sarawagi Oshin Sitaula, a well-known media personality, has established her name in the industry with her spontaneous, and expressive hosting and presenting expertise. She started off as a presenter at M&S Kantipur Television and then became a producer, and today has started her own production house, RGB Productions, which specializes in the creation of movies, documentaries, content writing and digital marketing. Were you always interested in journalism? I didn’t actually have interest in this field. However, I always knew I wanted to do something that made me happy. I stumbled upon it and it turned out to be good. I was asked to join M&S and went for it without much thinking. However, it turned out as one of those things that I really love doing and I actually ended up working for seven years there. You are well-known for your hosting and interviewing skills. How do you manage to do that? I have loved being on stage ever since I was a child. I think the stage is one of my things and communication is my strength. The key to good communication is listening to the other person. Listening in terms of not only what they say but their body language as well. Communicating and talking to people is a stress buster for me because I really get into that particular conversation. This really helps me out as the other person eventually shares his/ her secrets with me and starts feeling comfortable. I guess that’s where I’m good. You must have found it challenging in the beginning. How did you manage to come out of your comfort zone? It was never that difficult as I always loved this. Unlike what people may think, I am not afraid anything and am just myself. I really don’t care what other people think of me. Issue 367 High Spirits Warming Up The Winter Nights With the winter season still ongoing, it definitely seems like a good idea to learn about and try more varieties of wine and keep yourself warm. Expanding my wine horizons through tasting experiences has always been a joyful activity for me. Not only I am having fun, but with it comes in-depth learning. This week, I opted for one of the faster selling brands, introduced in 2010 by Shree Mahakali Wine Pvt. Ltd., Divine Wines, which comes in varieties of sweet red and white. Flavorful and reasonable, Divine Wine is definitely a great choice if you are bringing a bottle to a dinner or event as a gift, or on a cozy family night. Divine Wine White This golden-hued wine is made up of a perfect blend of sweetness and grapey fruit flavors, with good balanced acidity and a hint of flowers. The concentrated grape flavor brings out a very sweet and soft taste on the palate. It is matured up to three years and is particularly a good wine when consumed young. Divine Wine Sweet Red Bright, fresh and intense in color, Divine Wine Sweet Red has heavy aromas of spices, tea leaves, and flowers. The spicy taste is well complemented by warm alcohol and gripping tannins. Matured for up to two-and-a-half years, it has a savory, earthy finish. 26
