Minimal residential rate rise The proposed 2.3 per cent rate rise is in line with the NSW rate peg. There will be a 1% increase to the average water access charge but no increase to sewerage or kerbside waste collection charges. What does this mean? For the average residential property, total rates will rise by 1.2% or 64 cents a week. 11

6% Where Does The OTHER Money Come From? 4% 51% RATES AND ANNUAL CHARGES CAPITAL GRANTS In 2018-19, AlburyCity will manage AND CONTRIBUTIONS an income of more than $129M, of which half will come from rates and annual charges.
