WORKFORCE AND CONTRACT TRAINING LCCC Center for Leadership and Workforce Development can provide: • Employability skills • Leadership training • Manufacturing training (even specialized) • Technology and more 5 ways to get your company to send you to a course: Ask. A verbal request or written memo is even better. Show our catalog. Attach it to your memo and ask them to read it. Stress the benefits. Workshops can fire up employees and prepare for challenges. Emphasize the convenience. Compare our pricing. Supervisors pay a little, but get a lot. Two virtual classes covering topics vital to today’s business to be taken at a best time for your business (anywhere between Jan. 1 and June 30, 2022); connection information to be emailed to registrants. Call Maureen at 570-225-7021 for more information or email mdonovan@lccc.edu. Managing Virtual Employees Virtual employees and teams have become the normal, evolving from ad-hoc to critical and fundamental work structures. They may, in fact, be the single most important way that companies – especially large- and medium-sized companies – prioritize and coordinate work today. Virtual employees and teams face different challenges and require different leadership than their more traditional counterparts. They often span functions, time zones, national borders, languages, disciplines and cultures - all factors that add complexity. Low engagement can be a serious problem with virtual teams. WFB 100-101 Call 570-225-7021 for pricing Resilience: Thriving in Disruption There are growing concerns that people’s mental health and well-being can be impacted when working remotely. Research shows that always being in the work environment and accessible by technology while working remotely leads to the blurring of work and non-work boundaries. How you cope with these stressors can affect your well-being, the well-being of the people you care about, your workplace and your community. During this time of disruption, it is critical that you recognize what stress looks like, take steps to build your resilience and manage job stress and more importantly, where to go if you need help.
