Greater Houston Section’s Message from the Proposed Meetings 2020 – 2021 Section Chair I have never been as honored and humbled by an opportunity than to be the Section Chair of such a September 9, 2020 terrific organization. I look forward to meeting with our members and working with so many of you this October 14, 2020 upcoming year and what this new year has to offer. November 11, 2020 Zac Sebren This year we will explore new opportunities to Section Chair diversify our communications to membership. The December 9, 2020 Greater Houston area spans 10,062 square miles, and we want to make sure all our members can participate in a big way. That is why January 13, 2021 this year in addition to in-person meetings, we will be hosting them on a virtual platform for members who cannot attend. February 10, 2021 We are adapting our newsletter platform this year as well. The section is rolling out a new, fully digital newsletter campaign set to begin in January 2021. The newsletter March 10, 2021 – Vendors’ Night will give sponsors the opportunity to embed links to new product offerings, as well as the ability to share articles, pictures and videos. The newsletter will also feature March 12, 2021 – Golf Outing a “Member Spotlight”, recognizing technicians from our industry who have been nominated for excellent service and attitude in their respective field. April 14, 2021 Now more than ever, we in the NDT community need each other. While we look to take care of our existing membership, we hope to attract our colleagues May 12, 2021 to join us in the pursuit of a safer world. We are fortunate to have one of the largest environments of mentors in our field and look to our members to continue to encourage to students and new technicians to become more involved in our society.
