                              Dr. Lorena Lloret Nadal, DVM, CTCVMP
                              obtained her degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of
                              Murcia, Spain, in 2002.
                              From 2002 she has obtained several Certificates in Veterinary
                              acupuncture ( ABVA; Chi Institute) and Veterinary Chinese Herbal
                              Medicine, Veterinary Food Therapy, Veterinary Tui Na
                              practitioner, Veterinary Balance Method acupuncture. She is been
                              internship in Florida -USA , Chiang Mai -Thailand and Lanzhou-
China .She is now finalizing her Master Thesis- TCVM on Electrical acupuncture and acupuncture
use for dogs undergoing TTA and TWO surgeries , granted by WATCVM and AEMVTC .

Experienced TCVM speaker in different countries such as the United States, China, Taiwan,
,Southafrica, Denmark, Spain, Portugal, Italy, France… Senior lecturer at the International
Veterinary College (Shanghai) , speaker and lab leader at the Chi Institute China in collaboration
with the University of Hebei (China).
Founding member and director of the Chi Institute of Europe since 2008, Chi Europe is the
European branch of the College of TCVM Chi Institute of Chinese Medicine in Florida, USA
dedicated to veterinary graduate training with university validation.
Lorena Lloret has published numerous articles and papers about TCVM in different countries(
Spain, EEUU, China) also been editor chief of the Spanish translation of the reference book “TCVM
Fundamental Principals “ into Spanish . Her article on the integrative use of EA as an anesthetic
agent in routine surgical procedures has been published by the prestigious American Journal of
TCVM and is a reference for integrative veterinarians worldwide.
She is part of the Board of Directors of the World Association of MVTC (WATCVM), and co-director
of the Council of Curriculum Education of this same association Co-founder and president of the
Spanish Association of TCVM (AEMVTC) since 2013.
About her clinical work , in 2003 she developed her own locum TCVM veterinarian service for small
animal and horses in UK; also with years of volunteering experience in exotic and wild. In 2006
she moved back to Spain and start to offer her services on different veterinary clinics.
From December 2014, Dr. Lloret is the chief service of the acupuncture and integrative veterinary
chinese medicine service of the University veterinary teaching hospital of the Alfonso X University
of Madrid (HCV-UAX) where she offers clinical integrative service for both small animals and
horses in cooperation with the rest of services of the Hospital.
