SSG AE Requirements Table B1: AE Qualification Requirements for Trainers and Assessors of SSG-Funded Certifiable WSQ and non-WSQ Courses Type of Training Provider (TP) AE Qualifications Requirements • At least 80% of trainers and / or assessors with either ACTA or ACLP qualification or equivalent Public Training Provider (includes either DACE or DDDLP Graduates). • At least 80% of trainers and / or assessors with WTP or WLF programme, or equivalent and In-House Training Provider • At least one Master Trainer with either ACTA or ACLP qualification or equivalent to function as in-house curriculum developer. DDDLP – Who should attend • Trainers and assessors with a keen interest in curriculum and courseware design and development • New or practising curriculum developers who need to design curriculum and courseware within the Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) framework • Professionals with subject matter expertise in a specific domain (e.g. from retail to healthcare to manufacturing) who also take on curriculum and courseware design and development functions in their workplace

DDDLP – Pedagogy and Approach IAL’s Blended Learning Pedagogy Flipped Classroom Approach Learners are exposed to new material prior to the actual Classroom Tech-enabled Workplace lesson and are required to complete given tasks in Learning Learning Learning preparation for the lesson. Practise and reinforce reflective practice through subsequent over 5 weeks modules. LP2 Perform Learning and Performance Needs Analysis Apply the steps required to undertake a learning and performance needs analysis to identify an organisation's 41 hours learning needs and propose a blended learning solution where applicable. over 9 weeks LP3 Design Blended Curriculum and Instruction Apply relevant curriculum models and instructional design principles to design an effective blended curriculum and 67 hours learning plans that are aligned to the organisation's learning needs. over 12 weeks LP4 Develop Learning Resources for Classroom Facilitation Apply instructional strategies to develop user-centred acitivities and learning resources that are aligned to a sound 28 hours curriculum design. DDDLP Programme Structure – 7 Modules (cohort-based) Code MODULE Learning Hrs & Duration LP6 Develop Learning Resources for Workplace Learning Facilitate Workplace Learning (Module 4) of WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) is a pre- N.A. requisite for enrolment into the DDDLP programme. LP6 is a self-directed learning module. Apply knowledge and skills learnt in ACLP Module 4 to design workplace learning plan and tasks and develop resources for workplace learning and coaching as part of the Applied Practice Project^. LP7 Design Assessment to Promote and Evaluate Learning Apply concepts like principles of assessment and rules of evidence to design relevant and effective assessment 36 hours methods and tools to evaluate and promote learning. over 8 weeks TOTAL 220 hours over a duration of 13-14 months ^ For the Applied Practice Project (APP), learners will apply knowledge and skills learnt in Modules 2 to 7 to: • Conduct a performance and learning needs analysis to identify training gaps for staff in an organisation • Design a blended learning curriculum to address the identified training needs • Design a blended learning plan comprising 3 learning modes: classroom learning, online learning and workplace learning • Develop learning resources for implementation of the learning solution (i.e. training materials) • Design an assessment plan to evaluate and promote learning outcomes

Overview of Applied Practice Project (APP) Applied Practice Project (APP) Supervisee • A DDDLP learner embarking on a real work-based project or Applied Practice Project (APP) with the Project Host Organisation (PHO) to fulfill the requirements of the DDDLP Project Host Organisation (PHO) • A business organisation willing to allow and work with the APP Supervisee to find Who are the out learning gaps among their employees people Project Host Organisation (PHO) Coordinator involved? • A PHO-appointed supervisor coordinating opportunities and resources for APP Supervisee to engage in activities to fulfill the requirements of the Applied Practice Project (APP), and giving feedback to APP Supervisor on the Supervisee’s performance Applied Practice Project (APP) Supervisor • An IAL-appointed Adult Educator (AE) providing guidance and supervision to APP Supervisee on the Applied Practice Project (APP), and to monitor and assess the learner’s performance in the Project Host Organisation (PHO)

DDDLP – Fees and Funding For self-sponsored individuals SkillsFuture Credit (SFC) • The SkillsFuture Credits are only applicable for self-sponsored applications. Full Programme Fee S$ 9,951.00 • You may only use the Opening SkillsFuture Credit (up to $500) (with GST) and One-Off SkillsFuture Credit Top-Up (up to $500) for this programme. For Singapore Citizens and S$ 2,985.30 • The Additional SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career Support) is not Permanent Residents (After SkillsFuture Funding) applicable as this programme does not fall under the “Career Transition Programmes” category. DDDLP – Course Administration Skills • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English with at least a B4 for English language at GCE 'O' Level or Level 7 and above in Workplace Literacy of Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification • Good IT skills including using web browsers to search for relevant and reliable information, using word processing and presentation software for report writing and presentation, etc. • Good research skills including planning and scheduling, collecting relevant and reliable data from different sources, analysing collected data, conducting interviews, etc. and • Possess strong analytical skills

DDDLP – Course Administration Important information effective 1st Nov 2021 Maximum Candidature Period You should complete your DDDLP within 2 years from the course start date. Failing which, your candidature will be terminated, and full fees without funding will apply if you wish to re- enrol the same course. Course Deferment • You may submit a deferment application if you cannot complete the full qualification due to reasons beyond your control. An admin fee of S$60.00 (before GST) will apply. • Deferment applications with invalid, insufficient or no supporting documents will be rejected. Upon review, IAL's decision will be final. • Once the application is approved, you may return within ONE YEAR from the Deferment Approval Date to complete the remaining modules. • Full fees without funding will apply if you wish to re-enrol the same course past the one- year deferment period.
