Healthy Recipes - Stuffed Mushrooms Healthy Recipes - Stuffed Mushrooms Spinach and cheese stuffed mushrooms Minutes to Prepare: 20 Minutes to Cook: 20 Number of Servings: 6 Ingredients 6 large stuffing mushrooms 2 tsp parmesan cheese 1/4 tsp coriander 1 10 oz package frozen chopped spinach 1/2 cup cheddar cheese dash pepper 1/2 a large onion, diced 1 tsp olive oil dash salt 1 glove garlic, diced 1/4 tsp paprika Directions Preheat oven to 350. Clean and hollow out six large mushroom caps (average 14 oz package.) Put in 8 x 8 pan Heat 1 tsp olive oil to large skillet, medium heat Add onions and garlic, saute until onions are soft Add spinach. Mix well Add parmesan cheese. Mix well. Add cheddar cheese. Reduce to low heat and mix. Add paprika, coriander, and salt and pepper to taste. Remove heat, spoon mixture into mushroom caps. Bake mushroom caps ~20 minutes or until desired mushroom texture. January 2021 - COVID UPDATE We continue to be vigilant in an attempt to achieve some semblance of normalcy as we wait for news on being able to be vaccinated. In the meantime, please adhere to the following guidelines: COVID -19 GUIDELINES UPDATED 9/30/20: Residents and guests must wear masks and social distance while inside the Clubhouse and Offices. Clubhouse and pool access is limited to residents and overnight guests of residents only. The pool capacity is the posted bathing load of 16 people. Planned event hosts must present a plan to be approved before hosting a gathering. Themaximum number of persons allowed to gather should not exceed 50 people at any one time. No Activities that promote social contact, such as dancing, are allowed. Noevents where we are inviting in the general public or neighboring com- munities to attend are allowed. Most importantly, no food events are allowed unless catered, or a plan to distribute the food safely, has been approved in advance. Although we have increased the scheduled cleaning of the facilities to help combat COVID-19, using the facilities and participating in any Activities is at your own risk.
COVID-19 Vaccine Information* IMPORTANT INFORMATION TAKEN FROM: www.mymanatee.org/vaccine Manatee County will be implementing a new COVID-19 vaccine standby process that will allow seniors ages 65 and older to avoid waiting lines by pre-registering by phone or online with the County if they're interested in receiving vaccines beginning to arrive locally. The public will be able to access the registration form online 24/7, beginning at 10 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 7. You can also register by calling 311 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays beginning Friday, Jan. 8. More information will be available on Thursday afternoon. COVID-19 Vaccination Drive Thru - Priority groups (65+) The Department of Health in Manatee County will be offering vaccinations to seniors age 65 and older by appointment only, as supply is available. Manatee County residence is not required, but vaccine recipients must remain in Manatee County for their second round (28 days after the first appointment). NOTE: Vaccine eligibility is determined at the state level by the Governor's requirements. Please be aware that fraudulent websites are marketing COVID-19 vaccines to the Manatee County public. Do not register for a vaccine using any link other than through this web page. Registration is free. If you have questions related to COVID-19 or the vaccine, please contact the Manatee County Department of Health. How to get vaccinated You must be age 65 or older and you must remain in Manatee County to receive your second round shot, 28 days after your first appointment. Sign up for Manatee County's COVID-19 Vaccination Standby Pool (available after 10 p.m. on Jan. 7; link coming soon) or by calling 311 (any weekday between 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., beginning Jan. 8) As vaccines become available, eligible recipients will be randomly selected from the pool. When selected, you will be contacted by Manatee County to book an appointment. Appointments will be made as quickly as vaccine doses are received by the county. Download and complete the Department of Health COVID-19 Vaccine Screening and Consent Form and bring it to your appoint- ment in order to be vaccinated. (NOTE: You do not need to fill out the insurance section.) Bring your consent form, confirmation number and a valid ID to your appointment. If you are unable to print your consent form, a consent form will be provided at your appointment.
