THIEL HIGH SCHOOL FELLOWSHIP • Criteria: o Be interested in designing and building things. • Award: $100,000 • Application: https://thielfellowship.org/ • DEADLINE: DECEMBER 31, 2020 WEALTH WISE SCHOLARSHIP • Criteria: o Minimum of 3.5 GPA o Major of study must support a career in the finance industry o Complete an essay for submission • Award: $1,000 • Application: https://www.badcredit.org/scholarship/ • DEADLINE: DECEMBER 31, 2020 KNIGHT ESSAY SCHOLARSHIP • Criteria: o Must submit an original essay based on event, person, philosophy, or ideal associated with the American Revolution • Award: $5,000 • Application: https://www.sar.org/george-s-stella-m-knight-essay-contest/ • DEADLINE: DECEMBER 31, 2020 GE-REAGAN FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM • Criteria: o Demonstrate at school, at the workplace, and within the community the attributes of leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship o Demonstrate strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 grade point average/4.0 scale or equivalent) o Be citizens of the United States of America o Be current high school seniors attending high school in the United States (students living on U.S. Armed Forces base and homeschooled students are also eligible) o Plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study toward a bachelor’s degree at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States for the entire upcoming academic year. • Award: $10,000/year for 4 years = $40,000 total • Application: Not open for Class of 2021 yet, check website for specific dates o reaganfoundation.org/education/scholarship-programs • DEADLINE: January 5, 2021 FOOT LOCKER SCHOLAR ATHLETES • Criteria:
o Be entering college in the Fall of 2021 as a Freshman at an accredited four-year institution for an undergraduate degree; o Be currently involved in high school sports, intramural sports, or community based sports. o Have a minimum GPA of 3.0; o Be a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident (you will be asked to prove citizenship and age if you win); o Not be an employee, officer or director of Foot Locker, Inc., or any of its subsidiaries, or a member of the immediate family of such an employee, officer or director. • Award: $20,000 • Application: https://www.footlockerscholarathletes.com/ • DEADLINE: January 8, 2021 DFA CARES FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP • Criteria: o Must be enrolled in or applying for an accredited degree program during the 2021 - 2022 scholarship year o Applicant's commitment and passion for a career in the dairy industry, as demonstrated through responses to three essay questions o Extracurricular activities, awards, recognition and work experience o Academic Achievement • Award: $1,000 • Application: https://www.dfamilk.com/careers/students-and-graduates (scroll down the website to the bottom) • DEADLINE: January 15, 2021 DECA STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS • Criteria o Must be in the DECA program o All Scholarships are strictly merit based • Award: $3,000 • Application: https://www.deca.org/high-school-programs/scholarships/ • DEADLINE: January 15, 2021 MATERIAL HANDLING EDUCATION FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP • Criteria o Undergraduate students pursuing a material handling, logistics or supply chain career enrolled full time at a qualified college or university in a target program (see list above). Undergraduate students may be classified as freshman, sophomore, junior or senior for the Fall 2021 term to be eligible. o Enrolled at any non-profit college or university in the United States accredited by the Council for Higher Education. o All applicants must be full-time students with a “B” grade point average or above in their major. o Applicants must be enrolled in school for the entire academic year (Fall 2021 and Spring 2022) without interruption barring illness, emergency, or military service. o Scholarship awards cannot be used for study abroad programs/semesters. • Award: $6,000 • Application: https://www.mhi.org/mhefi/scholarship • DEADLINE: January 15, 2021 MENSA US SCHOLARSHIP • Criteria: o Applicants must be enrolled in a degree program in an accredited U.S. institution of higher learning during the academic year following the application date. o Applicants must submit an application and essay explaining his or her career, academic and/or vocational goals.

If an applicant is a minor in his/her/their state of residence, they must receive parental consent from his/her/their parent/legal guardian to apply. o Applicant must be on-track to apply for or enrolled in an accredited post-high school/post-secondary educational program (including accredited two-and four-year colleges, universities, vocational-technical and trade schools). o Applicant must be willing to work with the Taco Bell Foundation’s Scholarship Management Company throughout the application and award process. o Employees of Taco Bell Foundation, Inc., Taco Bell of America, LLC, Taco Bell Corp. and its parent, subsidiaries of its parent, franchisees, licensees, and the advertising and promotion agencies involved with this Program are not eligible to apply or receive a scholarship through this version of the program. • Award: $10,000 • Application: https://www.smeef.org/sme-education-foundation-scholarships/scholarship-opportunities/ • DEADLINE: February 1, 2021 JACKIE ROBINSON FOUNDATION • Criteria: o Be a graduating minority high school senior; o Plan to attend an accredited and approved four-year institution within the United States; o Show leadership potential; o Demonstrate a dedication to community service; o Present evidence of financial need; o Be a United States citizen; o Have a minimum SAT score of 1,000 combined on the math and critical reading sections or a composite ACT score of 21 • Award: Up to $30,000 over 4 years • Application: https://www.jackierobinson.org/apply • DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 1, 2021 ELKS NATIONAL FOUNDATION- LEGACY AWARDS • Criteria: o Any child or grandchild (or step-child, step-grandchild, or legal ward) of a living Elk who joined the order on or before April 1, 2018, or a charter member of a Lodge that was instituted on or after April 1, 2018, is eligible to apply. The Elk must also be a paid-up member through March 31, 2021. Great- grandchildren are not eligible. o If the applicant's parent and grandparent are both Elk members, the applicant must apply through the parent's Elks Lodge. • Award: $4,000 • Application: https://www.elks.org/scholars/scholarships/Legacy.cfm • DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 5, 2021 NMASBO SCHOLARSHIP • Criteria: o Demonstrate strong academic achievement with a 3.0 GPA or better and must submit a copy of the following documents: unofficial high school transcript & ACT and/or SAT scores. o Submit a typed essay (double spaced and no longer than two pages in length). The essays will be scored according to the following criteria: Details of your plans for attending college and pursuing a college degree, Information on how the scholarship will help you achieve your educational goals Information demonstrating your financial need, Information about your service to the community or school district if any. o Submit two letters of recommendation written by a schoolteacher, staff member, or school administrator.
