Whitney Point Central School District Mission Statement The mission of the Whitney Point Central School District is to provide an excellent education ensuring that all children maximize their potential, become contributing citizens, and pursue lifelong learning. The seven-member board establishes policies and adopts regulations for the conduct of the district schools. Board members are elected for three-year terms. It is important to note that the board must act as a whole unit. Individual board mem- bers cannot make decisions independent of the other members. The responsibility for administering board policies rests with the Superintendent of Schools.
