TWC-621 NoLever UHP Montage Zertifiziert nach wdk-Montage-/ Demontageanleitung UHP- u. Runflat-Reifen Wirtschaftsverband der deutschen Kautschukindustrie e. V. 1. When breaking the bead of an RF or UHP tyre, always make sure to mount the spacer for the tyre shovel. It is highly important in all steps not to press the tyre's sidewall too much while mounting or demounting. If a V-shape is created when pressing or breaking the tyre bead on an RF or UHP tyre it will highly compromise the safety features of the tyre and create a safety hazard. Always use a sufficient amount of grease and only break the bead with the valve placed in an h6 or h12 position. Failing to keep the valve in the wrong position during the bead breaking procedure may severely injure the valve or break the RF-sensor. 2. Make sure to use the centering cone to provide sufficient pressure and to check that the clamping jaws grab the rim correctly and that they safely secure the wheel onto the table when clamping RF or UHP tyres with hard sidewalls. Note that the table can be prepositioned according to the wheel size to make the locking process smoother and safer. 3. When demounting the upper bead, use the plastic lead shovel in front of the mounting head to avoid the tyre to spinning on the rim. If the tyre starts spinning or move out of the correct position it may cause serious damage to the valve or RF sensor. Use the help arm to lightly push down the tyre on the opposite side to release tension on the tyre bead. This will also make it easier to lift up the upper bead. Make sure that the tyre bead is placed in the drop centre of the rim. Hold the plastic lead shovel in place and slowly spin the turning table. Always make sure to use sufficient amount of tyre grease as to avoid damage to the tyre bead and to assist the process. 4. When mounting the tyre on the rim, make sure to use all 3 pressure points placed with an appropriate distance as shown on the picture. Make sure to place the plastic rim protection before the first pressure point as to prevent the rim cutting or harming the tyre bead. Always make sure to use sufficient amount of tyre grease as to avoid damage to the tyre bead and to assist the process. 5. When mounting the rim you can also use the bead spacer assembly to make the process of fitting the tyre easier. Use the first bead pressure point (Bead Roller) to keep the tyre in place under the mounting head. Put the additional pressure point clamp in place and make sure the plastic rim protection in front of the pressure clamp is in place. Once this step is done, move the table forward slowly and put the bead pressure point in place part by part as shown in the picture. Always make sure to use sufficient amount of tyre grease as to avoid damage to the tyre bead and to assist the process. 10 LAUNCH Europe GmbH
