Welcome
    Logan Art Gallery is one of the most dynamic
    regional galleries in South-East Queensland,
    showcasing the best local and touring art, craft,
    and design exhibitions. You'll be inspired by
    practical art workshops and exhibition talks, find
    beautiful, locally-made artworks in the Gallery
    Store, and enjoy the activities in the Young
    Peoples Gallery. We look forward to seeing you at
    the gallery.

Join Mei Mei Liu for an artist’s talk in her exhibition
Coral impression, inspired by diving on the Great
Barrier Reef. Watch Mei Mei demonstrate Chinese
calligraphy and contemporary water colour
painting. Enjoy light refreshments while you listen
to Sino Sound Group perform traditional songs
and folk dances from northern China.

Logan Art Gallery is delighted to present ‘Island Fashion on Tour’, a Queensland Art Gallery |
Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA) regional touring project for children and families.
‘Island Fashion on Tour’ features a range of free, hands-on art making activities created by
QAGOMA in collaboration with Australian and Pacific artists Grace Lillian Lee, Maryann Talia
Pau and Ranu James and Letila Mitchell.
Unlimited places, No bookings required. All welcome. Parents are to remain with children.

Island Fashion on Tour is a free QAGOMA Touring Program available to regional Queensland communities.

Artists’ residencies: what
you need to know to get your
own residency

Join exhibiting artists Ruby Purple, Merri
Randell and Chrys Zantis to hear about their
individual experiences as creatives in residence
and what you need to know to get your own
residency.

Ruby Purple will speak about her residency at
Curtin Springs Station located in the central
Australian desert in the Northern Territory.

Merri Randell will speak about the grants
she has received to undertake some of
her residencies including the 2015 Logan
BushCare residency.

Chrys Zantis will share her experience as Artist
in Residence within the Cognitive Neuroscience
and Computational Psychiatric Lab at the
Melbourne School of Psychological Sciences.
