                                              Part of two UNESCO designated sites and home to the
                                              top 50 hiking trails in the world, the Fundy Trail is a
                                              2,559 hectare park featuring a 30 km parkway hugging
                                              the southern coast of New Brunswick. With a new
                                              eastern entrance completed this year, the park
                                              continues to develop with plans to build an additional
entrance connecting the Parkway to the Village of Alma and Fundy National Park in 2021. With
stunning views of the world-renowned Bay of Fundy, the park has been carved out of the Fundy
escarpment, one of the last remaining coastal wilderness areas between Florida and Labrador.

Hike the NEW Nepisiguit Mi’gmaq Trail
                                      The historic Mi’gmaq hiking trail is a newly designated linear
                                      park; a 150 km single track hiking trail that follows the mighty
                                      Nepisiguit River from mountains to sea (from Mount Carleton
                                      Park in central New Brunswick to Daly Point Nature Reserve in
                                      Bathurst). For centuries it has been used as a portage route by
                                      the First Nations people of the area. The fun Tipis at the

Nova Scotia to open its FIRST ever five-star hotel
                                       Set to open in 2021, Muir Hotel will be Nova Scotia’s first five-
                                       star hotel and the centrepiece of the new Queen's Marque
                                       district on the historic Halifax waterfront. Designed by Nova
                                       Scotia’s celebrated architect Brian MacKay-Lyons, the hotel’s
                                       contemporary design will honour traditional material and
                                       craftsmanship. The hotel will offer 110 bespoke rooms
offering comfort and serenity and with finely crafted furniture, inspired by a modern east coast

Celebrate the 100th anniversary of Bluenose II, Canada's most famous tallship
                                       A plethora of events are being planned to mark the centennial
                                       of the launch of Canada's most famous tallship, The Bluenose.
                                       Kicking off with a special birthday event in Lunenburg in
                                       March, activities will run throughout the year with a highlight
                                       being a celebration festival planned for August as well as 100
                                       days of harbour tours with each sail telling a themed story
                                       relating the history of The Bluenose. The Fisheries Museum of

                                     Located in the Annapolis Valley next to a UNESCO World
