My husband and I are so happy we chose to book with Allenberry. Not only is the scenery beautiful, but we were able to have our whole wedding experience on the property. We had family and friends coming from all over the country to Boiling Springs so we wanted to make sure we had enough time to spend with everyone. Allenberry had everything we needed to make this a reality. Our guests stayed on the property all weekend, we had our rehearsal dinner at the Mansion, cabins for the wedding party, ceremony at the creek, reception in the Carriage House, an after party at the Mansion, and a farewell breakfast as well. My favorite part as a bride was having the opportunity to work with Kelsey. She was experienced, kind, responsive, and also kept me on track. Durinda B Every single detail was planned and executed. She also was readily available when I had questions and got back to me quickly. We rented some cottages for the bridal party and got ready in the cottages as well which provided us with space for all the stylists and breakfast/lunch. Kelsey and the team checked in on us throughout the day and I literally did not have to worry about a single thing! THE MANSION - 4 BEDROOM SUITES - 3 KING, 1 QUEEN - Built in the early 1800’s, the Mansion is the perfect home away from home for large bridal groups and families. The 4,000-sq. ft. historical landmark, built by George Beltzhoover and renovated by Allenberry, is a stone and wood farmhouse offering a spectacular view of the Yellow Breeches Creek. Its veranda is a perfect space for outdoor gatherings, and its main floor contains a spacious living room, dining room (punctuated by an antique chandelier), and two parlors. The main floor also contains a full kitchen and authentic butler’s kitchen. The Mansion contains four bedrooms each with a historical name. The Heinze Suite, Master Bedroom, and Jane’s Room account for the 3 King Deluxe Suites, while the Guest Bedroom accounts for the Queen Suite. The largest boasts incredible natural light, a sizable personal vanity area, and a soaking bathtub, making it a wonderful bridal suite. Each suite has a private bathroom. STONE LODGE - 14 KING BEDROOMS AND SUITES - Stone Lodge, built in the early 1800s by George Beltzhoover, was originally a stone barn and carriage house for the Beltzhoover horses. Now, the renovated lower level is home to the Carriage Room and the Stone Tavern. Choosing the Carriage Room for your reception location is a convenient way to be close to your lodging. The rooms in Stone Lodge are, literally, steps away from the Carriage Room. The upper level contains 14 beautiful Lodge King Suites, including 1 Lodge King Deluxe Suite, and 1 Lodge King ADA Accessible Suite. Its lounge area has comfortable seating, a two-story gas fireplace, ice machine, microwave, mini-fridge and wet bar. Nestled in the wooded pines of Allenberry, its rooms offer a serene view of the resort. THE STILL HOUSE - 1 B E D R O O M P R I VAT E H O U S E - One of the original limestone buildings built in the late 1700s by the original owners, the Crockett Family, the restored Still House is the perfect place for special events, family gatherings, and wedding parties. The Still House sits right above the Yellow Breeches Creek and has a private patio that overhangs the creek, providing an unobstructed view of the natural scenery beyond the creek. Inside, the Still House contains a 2nd-floor king bedroom and bathroom, cozy living room and kitchenette. It's a great place for the bride and groom to relax with their friends, accommodating small parties and gatherings. FAQ'S CEREMONY Can I have a ceremony on-site? Is there an extra fee? Yes, you can have your ceremony on-site! Allenberry Resort has two different options for you based on your chosen reception location, which our team will propose to you for the most flawless and picturesque wedding day. Can I have my ceremony off-site? Yes! If you would prefer to have your ceremony in an alternate location (such as a church), you may still choose to book Allenberry for your Cocktail Hour and Reception for a 6-hour window. Can I have my wedding rehearsal at Allenberry Resort? Yes. However, rehearsals on property are based on availability. Rehearsals are best scheduled on the Wednesday or Thursday evening before your wedding. If you prefer to schedule your rehearsal on Friday or Saturday, they must be completed between 9:00 a.m. and 4 hours before the start of any event that evening. This time is subject to change based on the timing of the event on a Friday or Saturday evening. Also, its highly recommended that your officiant be present for your on-site rehearsal. FAQ'S DECOR Will you set up my centerpieces, seating cards, etc.? Yes, Allenberry Resort will provide place settings for up to 200 guests, including china, glassware, cutlery, table linens, and linen napkins. Can I install my own lights or décor? For liability reasons, all overhead and column décor must be purchased from and installed by Allenberry Resort. Event décor is charged on a per event basis and may not be combined with other events. Are real candles allowed? Candles may be used at Allenberry Resort, but they must be kept in enclosed glass containers likes votives, mason jars, or lanterns. Any such containers or candle holders must be approved by Allenberry Resort prior to use. Can I release sky lanterns? Sky lanterns are allowed to be released at Allenberry Resort in a limited quantity. You must notify your wedding specialist. Are sparklers allowed? Sparklers are allowed outdoors, but only on asphalt, and must be cooled off in a water bucket prior to disposal. Any damage or injury is the client’s responsibility. VENDORS Can I hire my own DJ? You can hire your own DJ or band. Allenberry Resort will provide you with an elite preferred vendors list geared to help clients. You may select any DJ or band, whether they appear on our participating vendor list or not. Each outside vendor must provide their own equipment to perform the necessary functions of their job including tables, extension cords, etc. When do my vendors eat dinner? Your vendors are served each course or invited to the buffet as soon as all of the guests have been served, unless otherwise pre-determined with the Wedding Plan. Vendor meals are half-price. FAQ'S FINANCIALS How late can I increase my guest count? Your minimum guest requirement is established during the booking process and can be referenced on your signed contract. Children and Vendor Meals do not count towards the minimum guest requirement. Final guest counts are due 20 business days before the day of the event. If the client does not confirm a guaranteed count, the count provided within the current proposal will be considered the guaranteed count. In the case of any last minute additions to your guest list, ask your event specialist. They will take any special considerations into account, and may be able to increase your guest count later in the process. How do I make my final payment and when is it due? 100% of the venue rental fee will be due at the signing of the contract to secure your event date. 75% of the catering costs will be due 3 months before your wedding date. The final payment of the remaining balance will be due 20 business days before your wedding date. Allenberry Resort accepts payment in cash, check, credit card or certified check. What about tipping? Our Administrative Service Charge pays for all of the services that you’ll receive from our staff. It includes both the wedding planning side of our staff, and the event staff that works on your actual wedding day. Gratuities are not expected or required. If you would like to provide a tip for your wedding coordinator and/or the staff at your wedding, please present the tips in individual, clearly labeled envelopes like, “Wedding Coordinator” or “Event Staff". ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS Do you have a list of recommended vendors? Allenberry Resort will provide you with an elite preferred vendors list designed to assist you as much as possible. W ith the exception of our designated caterer, you may choose any vendor whether they appear on our participating vendor list or not. Can my vendors familiarize themselves with Allenberry Resort beforehand? Vendors are allowed to visit Allenberry Resort in order to familiarize themselves with the venue, but they must make an appointment prior to visiting the property. Check in/Check out time? Our clients with room accommodations can access the full property at any time. Allenberry’s wedding team will be available for you at 12:30pm and all events must end by 11:30pm. Check-in time will be at 3:00 p.m. on the day of your event (1:00 p.m. for any additional guests staying at the resort) and check-out will be at 11:00 a.m. the following day. WEDDING POLICY • Allenberry Resort will not be held liable for lost, damaged, or misplaced personal belongings of event guests. • The client agrees to conduct their function in a peaceful and orderly manner so as to not interfere with the enjoyment of other Allenberry Resort patrons and guests. Client and clients’ guests are, at all times, subject to Allenberry Resort rules and regulations, and all applicable laws, ordinances and regulations of any governing authority that holds jurisdiction over the hotel and its operations. • Children of all ages are welcomed guests. However, children under the age of 12 are to be supervised by an adult at all times. Allenberry Resort will not be responsible for the supervision of children. • Allenberry Resort will gladly transport the supplies necessary for any event. Supplies must have shipped 5 days prior to the event, so notify Allenberry Resort as soon as possible. A nominal handling fee of $10.00 per box, up to 50 lbs., ensures their delivery to your preferred location. The client acknowledges and agrees that arrangements made by Allenberry Resort for receipt and storage of any such shipment are done solely as an accommodation and convenience to the client. Allenberry Resort is not responsible for any loss, theft, damage or destruction to any personal property shipped to or stored at Allenberry Resort premises by the client. • The Allenberry Resort staff will set up all events according to the diagrams agreed upon by the client and venue manager. In the case where changes to your function space are requested on the day of the event, a $100 additional labor fee will be assessed to the final bill. • The client and paying guests are responsible for the safety of all equipment and other property owned by Allenberry Resort and is liable for such if it is lost, stolen, damaged, or misplaced. • Decorations may not be attached to or adhered in any way to the building, inside or out, unless approved by Allenberry Resort. • Each outside vendor must provide their own equipment to perform the necessary functions of their job including tables, extension cords, etc. • You may also elect to hire a professional wedding coordinator as Allenberry Resort representatives will not manage your outside vendors. It’s our pleasure to work with, but not oversee, your chosen outside vendors. Allenberry Resort is not responsible for outside vendors regarding quality or pricing of services they provide. • All alcoholic beverages must be provided by Allenberry Resort. Outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted in any event space. Prices and brands are subject to change without notice. Allenberry Resort is bound by all local and state regulations governing the sale, service, and consumption of alcoholic beverages on its premises. The client acknowledges that the service of alcohol is subject to Allenberry Resort’s rules and regulations and that Allenberry Resort may, at any time by its sole discretion, suspend or terminate the service of alcohol to any individual or entire event. If alcohol is suspended or terminated for any reason, Allenberry Resort will not be liable for any actual, consequential, incidental, special or other damages of any kind whatsoever. The client and their guests agree to cooperate fully with Allenberry Resort’s efforts to comply with, and enforce all applicable rules, regulations and codes. • Guests are prohibited from taking alcoholic beverages off the premises during the event. WEDDING POLICY CONTINUED • Allenberry Resort is holding the aforementioned space for the exclusive use by your party. All cancellation notices shall be written and will be effective on the date of receipt by Allenberry Resort. Should the entire or partial group cancel, the client agrees to pay, as liquidated damages, and not as a penalty, a cancellation fee based on the schedule set forth below. As a reminder, all deposits are non-refundable regardless of the scheduled set forth below.
