On the occasion of the Corona crisis,

Corona skeptics? Corona deniers? Irresponsible trivialisation of a fire-hazardous crisis? None of this.
We at rubicon just do our job. Namely, journalism, which does not simply swallow everything that
politicians and other media put forward, which shows different perspectives and thus represents a
kind of supervisory authority for the powerful. If we stand almost alone in the corridor, simply
because we do not allow ourselves to be deprived of our freedom and our rights and do not go
down in the glue of a badly founded, built-up viral hysteria, then that says a lot about the current
state of our media landscape. The subsequent appeal by Rubikon editor Jens Wernicke cites widely
denied facts on the subject of Corona and is a letter of fire calling for the defence of fundamental
and civil rights as well as freedom of the press even in times of supposed emergency.

Dear readers, the escalating situation in the country makes it clear how thin the ceiling of civilization
really is:
 Inflated, many like to project their own darkness and usually even co-responsibility for the social
situation to the AfD. But all it takes is a single ultima-ratio argument called "killer virus" – and they
are all demanding the emergency dictatorship, gone by the bank and far to the left, and want the
strong leader back.

But why? Is it dying differently, perhaps better in a dictatorship? Is isolated at home, without social
and cultural life, without encouragement and solidarity? We have spent the last few days and weeks
examining the arguments and facts on the so-called Corona pandemic.
  And Dr. Wolfgang Wodarg, who is now slandered and discredited nationwide like a pariah, is right:
   There is not a single evidence in the world that there is currently any "special danger" to all of us.
What there are, however, are media that spread narratives that are completely hysterical and set in
blind obedience, and organize self-fulfilling prophecies. Above all, by ignoring contexts and interests,
ignoring complexity, omitting any real research, and finally identifying the deceased who have tested
positive for Corona as "corona dead" – who they are not. But even at the moment there should be an
excessive danger, which we are convinced is not the case, if there were no medical legitimacy for the
now looming "unlawful state". The measures taken and foreseen are simply meaningless and
intellect, do not help anyone and even escalate the health emergency:

"We have to build up immunity somehow. How can this be possible without contacts?"

Doctors and politicians alike know very well that contagion cannot be prevented and that we will all
end up having corona. But why do they call for a new fascism when it is supposedly "only" about
slowing down the inevitable? This approach does not change the danger to the life of a multimorbid

80-year-old. On the other hand, if thousands of people did not storm the hospitals because of a cold
or cough, they would help, thereby driving the "health system" saved to death into collapse.

No, dear readers, neither asociality nor dictatorship will solve our social, political and health
problems — as even those who are now pushing this know.

For them, however, it is already considered that the seriously ill elderly can no longer be saved. If this
were not the case, they would only focus their actions on the really vulnerable people. If they were to
fight against fear and panic, they would educate about the fact that a corona infection alone means
nothing and usually passes without symptoms. And they would call for hospital is only to be
hospitalized in the event of acute health emergencies — and do everything possible to protect
public life, democracy, and our constitution.

But, dear readers, contrary to what we might wish for, the powerful do not love us — and will not
save us. As the history of mankind teaches, we must do this on our own. Above all, by having the
courage to use our own minds, no longer seserving ourselves in front of the carts of powerful
interests that pretend to be "love" and no longer letting us be declared stupid or immature by
anyone. These days, I agree with what the researchers at Swiss Propaganda Research recommend —
and I would encourage you to do the same: "Even in the current situation, the old and proven
propaganda rule applies: the less known, the more speculation is. For attentive readers, however, this
offers an opportunity to assess the seriousness and orientation of the various media and authors.
One observes, for example:

    •   Which media count only test-positive case and death figures, without asking what these
        people have fallen ill or died from?
    •   Which media make headlines like "21-year-old football coach dies of coronavirus," and only
        mention in the last sentence that he had unrecognized leukemia?
    •   Which media are addressing the issue of so-called over-mortality, which is still in the normal
        range or below in all countries and age groups?
    •   What media ask how many intensive care patients with unexpected pneumonia are added,
        and what is their age and health profile?
    •   Which media prefer fear-inflating images of viruses, protective suits and coffins, rather than
        concrete data, facts and backgrounds?

    •   What media discuss the known problems with virus testing in general and the lack of clinical
        validation of the currently used test in particular?
    •   What media are illuminating the problematic role played by the WHO in previous cases?
    •   Which media are trying to bring in a political or geopolitical spin?
    •   Which media still speak of "bioweapons", even if this scenario can be ruled out long ago in
        the face of hardly spectacular death rates and death profiles?

The bioweapons hypothesis, which has been launched at every opportunity for almost forty years,
primarily has a geopolitical and psychological function. (See also: History of Biological Warfare.)
Medical and military experts surveyed by SPR recommend that three possible scenarios be kept in
mind when analysing current developments ("the three P"):

    1. A pandemic caused by a dangerous virus
    2. A media-induced mass psychosis
    3. A potential psychological operation

An example of recent psychological operations is the multiple staged chemical weapons attacks in
the Syrian war, which have been uncovered since 2019 by whistleblowers from the OPCW and other
experts, but have been largely ignored by classical media." And if, dear readers, after reading these
journalistic quality criteria, you now find that Rubikon is one of very few voices of reason in a sea of
irrationality, and you would like to reward the fact that from day 1 of this crisis we do not have a fake
News spread, but have written clearly and incorruptiblely against the emerging new totalitarianism,

In this stirring interview, Professor Sucharit Bhakdi, one of the world's most cited experts in the field
of medical microbiology, explains that it is "false" and "dangerously misleading" to create the new
coronavirus for current deaths. as pre-existing conditions and air pollution played a more important
role in Chinese and northern Italian cities. Professor Bhakdi strongly condemns the measures
currently under discussion or adopted as "grotesque," "senseless," "self-destructive" and a "collective
suicide" that will shorten the life expectancy of seniors and not be be accepted; Covid-19 he calls a
"spook":
