we are connected CCSA VIRTUAL EXPERIENCE '21 Back by popular demand! We are honored to have Dan & Rosie back this year for our social hour entertainment. You won't want to miss these talented performers. Dan Heidt Monday, 5:30-6:30pm Dan Heidt is a songwriter and guitarist who grew up in Charleston, WV, but has spent the last 12 years of his life in Columbus, OH. He spent his youth in song circles and coffeehouses with musicians much better than he was, and spent long road trips with his family listening to greats like John Denver, Loretta Lynn, Willie Nelson, and The Carpenters, giving him a deep appreciation for well-scripted and well- crafted songwriting. His style sort of reflects and respects that time, a story-driven musical narrative, accompanied by a finger style inspired by fellas like James Taylor, Jackson Browne, and especially the aforementioned John Denver. In his spare time, he feeds stray cats and hosts a Podcast called "Flies in the Kitchen," where he has great conversations with the creatives of the world - at least his corner of it. Rosie Hays Tuesday, 5:45-6:45pm Rosie Hays is originally from the New Orleans area. She studied music therapy and piano at Loyola University New Orleans before moving to Chicago to perform in 2011.
