Watford FC U15 Holland Tour &
                        SV TOGB Tournament
Euro Football Tours & Tournaments created a fantastic schedule for the Watford FC Academy
as they enjoyed a unique football experience in Holland that include playing in the SV TOGB
Tournament.
Arriving on Friday the group were met by their Tour Manager and then checked in to their
excellent Hotel located just outside Rotterdam. The group then had a short trip where they
enjoyed a Feyenoord Stadium Tour visit with the Stadium guide giving a great account of the
history and tradition of SC Feyenoord. The players were given VIP treatment as they looked
behind the scenes of one of Hollands biggest clubs and had access to all areas of the clubs.

The players and staff then headed to SV TOGB where they had a light training session with
Head Coach Dominic Haynes and his staff putting in place the final planning and preparation
for their participation in the SV TOGB Tournament on Saturday. The group enjoyed training
on one of the many excellent artificial pictures at the location where they were then treated
to a full dinner at the club. It was interesting to discuss with the staff of Watford FC about
their thoughts on the groups potential success but also the importance of the groups social
and communication skills while on Tour and representing Watford FC. The group then
departed on their luxury coach to their hotel for some much needed rest before the next
day of competition.

SV TOGB U15 Tournament
Saturday saw the players arrive for a full day of Tournament football where they would play 5 x
fixtures against different opposition. The SV TOGB staff organised a fantastic and well
organised competition at a great facility. Watford FC enjoyed a excellent opening game v SC
Feyenoord and in a very close game losing 1-0. They also played Wassl Beveren (Bel) , Fortuna
Sittard (Neth) , FC Emmen (Neth) and in their final classification game beating DHC (Neth) 4-0.
Although the results were mixed all the staff were please with the players performance and
their conduct throughout the tournament. The U15 final was won deservedly by Sporting
Lokeren (Bel) who were the best team on the day. It was a great football experience for
Watford FC were they played against different styles , formations and European teams.

Watford FC U15 v Excelsior U15
After recovering from the previous days Tournament the Tour quickly continued with
Watford FC looking forward to their International friendly fixture v Excelsior (Eredivise).
It was a great gesture by the Excelsior to host the game at their main stadium. It was
another great experience and opportunity for all the players and staff to be hosted by
Excelsior and another game for the players to showcase their talents. The players who
were still in recovery from the competition of the days previous Tournament were
thrilled to be playing another top professional club with the atmosphere of playing in
their main stadium. The game was a closely thought encounter with Excelsior beating
their English counterparts.
