Gawsworth Primary School Medication Please advise staff about any medical concerns prior to the visit. Please make sure all medication is named and includes instructions about dosage. The staff will have Elastoplasts, but you may bring your own if you wish. Staff will take Calpol and Ibuprofen with them in case a child requires it as per the instructions you have detailed on your child’s medical form. 22
Allergies and Dietary Requirements • The school will pass on any information regarding dietary requirements and allergies to Manor Adventure • Staff at the centre quickly identify children with allergies and dietary requirements when we arrive • Children who require specially prepared meals due to their dietary requirements are very well catered for. These children are given a card prior to the meal to collect their food from the restaurant. Escargot is not a special dietary requirement! 26/03/2019 23
Spending Money • This is not essential, but children may wish to have some money to spend on souvenirs or tuck food. • We recommend your child brings no more than €20 with them and £10 of Sterling to use on the ferry. 26/03/2019 24
Passports and EHIC cards – BREXIT? • In 2018, the school arranged for a collective group passport on the visit. However, due to Brexit/uncertainties, HM Passport Office has recommended that your child should bring their own with them with at least six month’s validity. • EHIC cards (European Health Insurance Card). We are not yet aware of the Brexit implications for these cards but we will have our own health insurance. 26/03/2019 25
