What in your professional and personal experience makes you the best candidate for this position? (400
characters)
As an educator, I have been involved in volunteer outreach events with people from a wide variety of backgrounds.
Many skills gained from these roles have prepared me for this role as city commissioner, including bringing people

together and inspiring them to participate in their community, as well as budgeting finances and schedules, and
effectively communicating to make all involved feel heard.

Describe the top two priority challenges facing your municipality. What specific actions would you
propose to address these challenges? (500 characters)
In general, our city is truly one of the best places to live! No place is perfect, however. Listening to the residents, I
have discovered that many are concerned about the condition of some of the roads. I would work with our Public
Works department to specifically address this issue. Residents have expressed a need for more transparency taxes,
the city budget, and long-term planning. I would work with the finance & city planning committees to find solutions
that work for all.

Pinellas County is surrounded on three sides by water and has many barrier islands. How will you balance
competing demands of development and environmental protection? (500 characters)
Development is something that always requires careful balancing. Even as a young girl living near the Everglades, I
worked with local agencies to help keep the water clean and healthy. I understand that our community needs to be
able to grow in a sustainable way that mutually benefits the environment and the local people. I will be sure to
consider both aspects of this unique situation as each project comes our way.

The past several years have raised questions about what decisions should be made at the state level and
what decisions should be made at the local level. To what extent do you agree with this statement: “Local
governments should be able to make their own decisions about local measures to address housing and
housing affordability.”
Agree

Several capital projects are in development or under way to improve infrastructure in Belleair Bluffs, such
as the Indian Rocks Road project. Are there additional priority infrastructure needs that should be
addressed to support quality of life for city residents into the future? (600 characters)
As I mentioned above, the roads are a main concern for the residents. I will be focused on holding our workers
accountable to the timelines and processes that will bring resolution to improving the condition of our roads. Long-
term strategic planning is another area that needs to be addressed in a way that brings more residents into
participation. I plan to keep the communication open and friendly so each resident can bring their unique gifts and
talents into this community in a way that they are respected and mutually benefitted.

What are your priorities with respect to restoration and protection of the Bluffs in the face of erosion and
other environmental impacts? (600 characters)
I have already worked with local aid agencies to respond to the needs of the community from the impacts of
hurricanes and will continue to be involved in this. Environmental concerns require bringing awareness to the citizens
and then organizing solutions that benefit all involved. No governance should be taken lightly or without the
involvement of the whole community.

commercial & retail development & construction working across the country & around the world; I understand how
municipal codes effect residents and businesses.

Describe the top two priority challenges facing your municipality. What specific actions would you
propose to address these challenges? (500 characters)
The most obvious and complex issue is traffic congestion at West Bay and Indian Rocks Rd. Work is in progress to
improve conditions at this intersection. City staff is focused on ensuring timely completion, and this should remain a
priority. Pedestrian safety should be reevaluated once the new traffic signal construction is complete to determine if
additional measures are needed, and if so, determine what is possible to improve pedestrian access to area
businesses and services.

Pinellas County is surrounded on three sides by water and has many barrier islands. How will you balance
competing demands of development and environmental protection? (500 characters)
Belleair Bluffs' location on the Intracoastal Waterway makes our city a most desirable place to live. It offers boating,
fishing, watersports, and stunning beauty. Sound environmental protection measures, including storm water control
and marine life protection, have been updated and enhanced in our city code during my time on the Ordinance Review
Committee. They are included in any redevelopment project plans to protect the attributes that contribute to both
property values and lifestyle.

The past several years have raised questions about what decisions should be made at the state level and
what decisions should be made at the local level. To what extent do you agree with this statement: “Local
governments should be able to make their own decisions about local measures to address housing and
housing affordability.”
Strongly Agree

Several capital projects are in development or under way to improve infrastructure in Belleair Bluffs, such
as the Indian Rocks Road project. Are there additional priority infrastructure needs that should be
addressed to support quality of life for city residents into the future? (600 characters)
The capital projects scheduled for our city over the next few years include continuing the much-needed roadway and
storm drainage improvements to neighborhood streets. Improvements to that portion of Indian Rocks Road within the
city limits should be considered as funds become available. In addition to resurfacing, improvements to be considered
should include landscaping, lighting and an improved pedestrian and bike corridor.

What are your priorities with respect to restoration and protection of the Bluffs in the face of erosion and
other environmental impacts? (600 characters)
The shoreline within Belleair Bluffs is not compromised by erosion as it may be in surrounding municipalities. The city
has taken proactive measures to mitigate environmental impacts within our control by updating and enforcing codes
to improve storm water runoff in conjunction with redevelopment of private property and incorporating improved
storm water systems as an integral part of roadway improvement. Reinforcing the work the city has done to educate
the public on the effects of fertilizers, detergents and other chemical allowed to mix with runoff must continue to be a
priority.

I have used my strong business background to keep our city taxes down. I opposed the recommendation of the 10%
utility tax rate and helped cut the final applied rate in half. Since this utility tax was applied, I have made sure that
these funds are used to improve out city's roads.

Describe the top two priority challenges facing your municipality. What specific actions would you
propose to address these challenges? (500 characters)
As a smaller community in Pinellas County, we are blessed that our challenges are minimal. Although I am constantly
keeping my pulse on our budget. This is not the time to raise any costs or taxes to our residents and business owners
as we all struggle in an escalating economy. My other focus is on the improvement to our roads and infrastructure and
those costs are already included in our budget for 7 to 10 years.

Pinellas County is surrounded on three sides by water and has many barrier islands. How will you balance
competing demands of development and environmental protection? (500 characters)
Belleair Bluffs has an Intracoastal waterfront and I work closely with Pinellas County to maintain and make sure the
waterway is protected against stormwater runoff by making sure only rain goes down the drain. Keeping lawn waste
and trash out of the streets, streams, sewers and ditches, as just a few examples of my efforts to our community.

The past several years have raised questions about what decisions should be made at the state level and
what decisions should be made at the local level. To what extent do you agree with this statement: “Local
governments should be able to make their own decisions about local measures to address housing and

Several capital projects are in development or under way to improve infrastructure in Belleair Bluffs, such
as the Indian Rocks Road project. Are there additional priority infrastructure needs that should be
addressed to support quality of life for city residents into the future? (600 characters)
Belleair Bluffs is involved in the Complete Streets program. One of those projects in this program will be the mast arm
traffic signal improvement project at the corner of West Bay Drive and Indian Rocks Road. This mast arm traffic signal
will be able to handle higher winds to help maintain safety during a hurricane situation. Also, maintain pedestrian
safety with cross walks.

What are your priorities with respect to restoration and protection of the Bluffs in the face of erosion and
other environmental impacts? (600 characters)
There are a few things that can be done to help restore and protect environmental impacts such as maintaining a
healthy, perennial plant cover, placing crushed stone, wood chips, and other similar materials in heavily used areas
where vegetation is hard to establish and maintain.

I know our town, our people, and our places. A lifetime of volunteering has fed my soul and the experience of
volunteering has shown my commitment to our community. My goal is to continue to stay the course, respectfully
upgrade, responsibly improve, and thoughtfully move us forward without losing that defining “Gulfport” feeling, the
sense of community that we have come to love so much.

Describe the top two priority challenges facing your municipality. What specific actions would you
propose to address these challenges? (500 characters)
Properly functioning sewers are critical components in protecting the health of our residents and our environment. I
am committed to ensuring that funding for this program continues. I am passionate about our new Senior Center
rebuild. Our senior center is a hub of activity and our seniors are an integral part of our community. We have secured
1.5 million in funding for a new Senior Center. I will work to ensure more funding for this project.

Pinellas County is surrounded on three sides by water and has many barrier islands. How will you balance
competing demands of development and environmental protection? (500 characters)
Watershed Management Plan/Stormwater Master Plan. This is a holistic approach to stormwater management. This is
a new project that has just begun, and it is expected to take 2 years. We will conduct a study that will show us where
we need improvements, where we do not have drainage. Where are our vulnerable areas and how we will mitigate the
things that the study brings to light? Next, we will apply for grant funding to complete the resiliency projects that
have been identified.

The past several years have raised questions about what decisions should be made at the state level and
what decisions should be made at the local level. To what extent do you agree with this statement: “Local
governments should be able to make their own decisions about local measures to address housing and
housing affordability.”
Strongly Agree

What changes, if any, are needed in the current zoning and building codes to help provide affordable
housing, particularly for service/hospitality industry workers and local artists? (500 characters)
Gulfport is essentially built out. We do not have open unused land for building an affordable housing complex. This
leaves individual private properties. The Bert Harris Act dictates that governmental agencies cannot tell someone what
they can rent their house for. Pinellas County instituted a Tenants Bill of Rights to prohibit discrimination against
renters based the use of housing vouchers and it requires landlords to give advance notice of late fees and rent
increases more than 5%.

What is your assessment of the city’s financial health/stability in terms of revenue, expenses and debt?
What actions will you take to ensure that the city remains on a firm financial footing? (500 characters)
The city manager and his staff continuously monitor the fiscal environment and financial forecasts to bring a budget to
the council that is conservative and balances the public service needs with the available resources. The city council
works closely with the city manager to maintain strict fiscal oversight; we have healthy reserves (23%) and the
budget process moves forward with carefully measured steps. In tough times I would prefer to tighten our belt and
rethink special projects.

What in your professional and personal experience makes you the best candidate for this position? (400
characters)
I’ve lived here my whole life. So, for the past 38 years, I’ve been a friend and neighbor to Gulfport. I’ve been listening
and helping people with many unique backgrounds. Gulfport has also helped me a lot, and I’m seeking to give back–
not just as a councilperson–but as someone who connects to the many voices of Gulfport and connects those voices to
each other–as a community and with caring.

Describe the top two priority challenges facing your municipality. What specific actions would you
propose to address these challenges? (500 characters)
The main issue facing Gulfport is poor communication. The city is often not clear in letting residents and businesses
know what Gulfport rules and procedures are–or about what city resources are available. I also often see many people
with great ideas not being heard–not being connected with the city–and not being connected with each other. If
elected, I’ll clearly represent what’s going on in Gulfport–because what’s going on in Gulfport is all of you: your vision,
knowledge, and expertise.

Pinellas County is surrounded on three sides by water and has many barrier islands. How will you balance
competing demands of development and environmental protection? (500 characters)
Protecting nature while nurturing progress is essential for Pinellas and for Gulfport. It’s also essential that no
organization or elected official decides how to accomplish this balance alone. If elected, I’ll approach this issue the
same way I’ll approach any get everyone talking to solve these issues as a community. I know that if we work
together, we can look out for the interests of nature and of development–maybe even solutions that allow these
interests to look out for each other.

The past several years have raised questions about what decisions should be made at the state level and
what decisions should be made at the local level. To what extent do you agree with this statement: “Local
governments should be able to make their own decisions about local measures to address housing and
housing affordability.”
Neither Agree nor Disagree

What changes, if any, are needed in the current zoning and building codes to help provide affordable
housing, particularly for service/hospitality industry workers and local artists? (500 characters)
Artists and service/hospitality workers are the backbone of Gulfport and deserve to be able to live in here. Also, so
many people who have contributed so much to our city are being priced out. Affordable housing is a top issue facing
our community. However, I cannot give solutions to this issue in 500 characters or less–and I’m not willing to merely
give an answer without much more public input. So, I’d ask anyone reading this–if you’ve got a problem or a solution,
call me, I am here to listen.

What is your assessment of the city’s financial health/stability in terms of revenue, expenses and debt?
What actions will you take to ensure that the city remains on a firm financial footing? (500 characters)
Overall, Gulfport is in pretty good financial shape in terms of revenue. However, I think we can use our dollars a lot
better. We’re currently short-staffed at City Hall, and in the public works, sanitation, recreation, fire, and police
departments. We need to make sure that public dollars are being spent where they are needed the most: public
services and for the general public benefit.

What in your professional and personal experience makes you the best candidate for this position? (400
characters)
I have a strong background in both the public and private sector and have a deep understanding of the local
community and its needs. I have proven leadership skills and a commitment to working with residents and businesses
to improve Gulfport's future. My passion for the city and dedication to its residents make me an excellent candidate
for City Council.

Describe the top two priority challenges facing your municipality. What specific actions would you
propose to address these challenges? (500 characters)
The #1 issue is the lack of affordability, which is driving long-term cultural leaders, workforce and residents out of the
city. My solutions are incentivizing strategic density increases, creating a community land trust, and promoting
improved long-term rental quality. #2 issue: I strongly believe in the importance of transparency in local government.
Transparency helps to build trust with residents and ensures accountability in decision-making processes.

Pinellas County is surrounded on three sides by water and has many barrier islands. How will you balance
competing demands of development and environmental protection? (500 characters)
I understand the unique challenges posed by Pinellas County's coastal location and the need to balance development
with environmental protection. I believe that it is possible to have responsible growth while also preserving and
protecting our natural resources. To achieve this balance, I will prioritize sustainable development practices, protect
sensitive ecosystems and wildlife, and encourage collaboration between developers, local government, and
environmental organizations.

The past several years have raised questions about what decisions should be made at the state level and
what decisions should be made at the local level. To what extent do you agree with this statement: “Local

Strongly Agree

What changes, if any, are needed in the current zoning and building codes to help provide affordable
housing, particularly for service/hospitality industry workers and local artists? (500 characters)
I support strategic changes to zoning and building codes to provide affordable housing, especially for
service/hospitality workers and local artists. This includes allowing a mix of housing types, revised codes for accessory
units and tiny homes, and incentives for affordable housing development. The city can also designate live-work artist
studios and shared spaces. By making these changes, we can address the affordable housing crisis and support our
community's important workers and artists.

What is your assessment of the city’s financial health/stability in terms of revenue, expenses and debt?
What actions will you take to ensure that the city remains on a firm financial footing? (500 characters)
I view the city's financial health as a priority and will prioritize responsible budgeting, explore alternative revenue
sources without new taxes, and actively monitor expenses. I will actively seek grants and other funding sources and
promote transparency in financial decision-making. I will also involve the community in discussions on budget and
financial future to ensure the city remains on a firm financial footing and continues to provide essential services &
beyond.

Gulfport is one of the densest cities if not the densest city in Pinellas County. We have little or no empty lots for
building. Adding more houses behind houses etc. would only cause more issues for roads, police, fire etc. Our prices
are going up driven by the market like most of Pinellas.

What in your professional and personal experience makes you the best candidate for this position? (400
characters)
I'm a great candidate because of my willingness to weigh various opinions and solutions, then implement decisions
which make the most sense for the betterment of our community. Clarity and communication are the keys to
providing the best services and outcomes for both personal and business concerns. Everyone not only deserves to be
heard, they deserve to receive a clear response!

Describe the top two priority challenges facing your municipality. What specific actions would you
propose to address these challenges? (500 characters)
1) Managing change while retaining Gulfport's "Old Florida" charm requires a shared collective vision of the most
relevant goals plus clear, sensible mechanisms which allow individuals and businesses to benefit as assets for our
town.
2) Like many coastal communities, Gulfport faces water management challenges. Working with other communities as
necessary, our infrastructure must be addressed and updated to ensure the health and safety of our residents.

Pinellas County is surrounded on three sides by water and has many barrier islands. How will you balance
competing demands of development and environmental protection? (500 characters)
The reality is, development along the coast is heavily regulated by FEMA. Nonetheless, I do believe we should
develop, as concisely as possible, priorities that best serve our community regarding both demands and then pursue
our interests while cooperating as necessary with the state. Development and the environment are both significant.
With clear planning, we are well-positioned to blend them effectively.

The past several years have raised questions about what decisions should be made at the state level and
what decisions should be made at the local level. To what extent do you agree with this statement: “Local
governments should be able to make their own decisions about local measures to address housing and

Strongly Agree

What changes, if any, are needed in the current zoning and building codes to help provide affordable
housing, particularly for service/hospitality industry workers and local artists? (500 characters)
Our zoning and building codes must provide specifics regarding purpose, dimensions and styling such that we retain
control over the character of our town and provide potential investors with clear information about Gulfport's
expectations. Businesses that can make Gulfport a better, more attractive place are great, but we can’t forget what
attracted many people here in the first place!

What is your assessment of the city’s financial health/stability in terms of revenue, expenses and debt?
What actions will you take to ensure that the city remains on a firm financial footing? (500 characters)
Gulfport is on firm financial footing and does a good job of managing its money matters. We should continue with
what we’re doing while emphasizing additional opportunities, such as identifying and collecting unpaid debts. Even
when we’re good, we can always be a little better (and a little better off).

Surviving in the business world helps prepare most anyone for challenges of government. But my experience of

of regulation.

Describe the top two priority challenges facing your municipality. What specific actions would you
propose to address these challenges? (500 characters)
There are a couple of issues that are dividing our town and destroying any community spirit. The trouble is the truth
behind each issue is being convoluted by vitriolic and vengeful speech that does nothing to solve any issue. A
moderate mind with no agenda except maintaining what's left of our small town feel is my priority.

Pinellas County is surrounded on three sides by water and has many barrier islands. How will you balance

Our generation has totally screwed that up. The grow or die mentality doesn't allow for current enjoyment. For myself
I recently bought a parcel in Pasco with the intent of putting 20 townhome units on it. But when I realized how
beautiful it is, I am just going to enjoy it for what it is. Our little town has very limited development opportunities that
can substantially affect our quality of life if we continue to enforce current development regulations.

While there are problems with STRs, I use the analogy of how to control my eyebrows. I could use tweezers or a weed
whacker. The city is approaching with a weed whacker. Somebody is going to get hurt.

What key steps, if any, do you think are needed to ensure that infrastructure and services in Indian Rocks
Beach support quality of life for residents for years to come? (500 characters)
I have spoken many times at commission meetings in regard to new development. Each time I ask the commission to
address the issue of trips per day. The infatuation of mixed use by our current commission totally dismisses this issue.
All aspects have to be considered.

What in your professional and personal experience makes you the best candidate for this position? (400
characters)
As the only incumbent in this election, I have two years of experience as a Commissioner and this past year, a Vice
Mayor. I've learned so much about the inner workings of the city, the rules and the issues at hand. My background in
marketing I have used my skills to help the city improve its communication and outreach. I'm not afraid to make the
hard decisions and I love serving this city!

Describe the top two priority challenges facing your municipality. What specific actions would you
propose to address these challenges? (500 characters)
The two current challenges facing our city are residential short term vacation rentals and beach renourishment. A new
ordinance is underway to help resolve the issues concerning homeowners and to better regulate the vacation rentals.
Enforcement is key to this success. We are currently working with state, federal and county officials to determine if
they will consider omitting the easement clause in the Army Corps of Engineers contract.

Pinellas County is surrounded on three sides by water and has many barrier islands. How will you balance
competing demands of development and environmental protection? (500 characters)
IRB has a 5-year storm drainage plan to replace and repair the current draining infrastructure. The city also has a
multi-year plan to bury all utilities along Gulf Blvd. As for development, our city already has a code that buildings are
not allowed above 3 stories or 36 feet. We are planning a trip to Sanibel to learn more on how to best prepare for a
hurricane and major storms. We also offer recycling to all residents.

The past several years have raised questions about what decisions should be made at the state level and
what decisions should be made at the local level. To what extent do you agree with this statement: “Local
governments should be able to make their own decisions about local measures to address housing and
housing affordability.”
Neither Agree nor Disagree

There are many different views with respect to short term rentals in Indian Rocks Beach. What is your
proposal for a solution on this issue? (400 characters)
If vacation rentals are well managed with excellent communication between the hosts and the visitors there are
typically few if any problems. We now know that's not always the case. We have proposed a newly revised ordinance
to help put mandatory rules in place that will help the host and the visitor know what we expect when they visit our
beautiful beach community.

What key steps, if any, do you think are needed to ensure that infrastructure and services in Indian Rocks
Beach support quality of life for residents for years to come? (500 characters)
With an excellent city manager and empowered commission, we will be able to manage clean water, superior storm
drainage and control over high rise development to keep this beach community quaint and lovely.

My wife and I have lived in IRB since 2016. I’m happy and ready to provide unbiased, common sense, down to Earth,
grassroots decision making. I’m not a lawyer, and do not own any vacation rentals. My career is condo maintenance/
handyman. While owning a condo here in Pinellas, I was on the Board of Directors for several years. I’m in favor of
peace, tranquility, and harmony.

Describe the top two priority challenges facing your municipality. What specific actions would you
propose to address these challenges? (500 characters)
Short term vacation rentals have become a nuisance and representatives in Tallahassee have passed legislation to
take city control away. I would like to see the laws we have already in the books enforced properly so we do not need
to create more of the same. People coming here to vacation, and owners renting properties, need to understand we
expect them to respect our rules. I’m planning to find easy and sensible solutions to bring both sides to a winning
agreement.

Pinellas County is surrounded on three sides by water and has many barrier islands. How will you balance
competing demands of development and environmental protection? (500 characters)
I prefer the quaint little beach cottages here in Indian Rocks instead of modern high-rise buildings in Clearwater
beach. Combating Red Tide is one of my biggest priorities. I suspect this problem is caused by fertilizer corporations
located along Tampa Bay. Also poorly maintained sanitary sewage treatment infrastructure in our region getting
overwhelmed in storms. I would like the EPA to be more accountable as well as the Army Corp of Engineers.

The past several years have raised questions about what decisions should be made at the state level and

Strongly Agree

A standard write up notifying the guests about noise should be included in the contracts and posted at the property.
An electronic sensor can be installed at the property, connected to the WiFi, reminding them to keep it down! I would
like to see parking allowed back on some streets. Also hiring out building code enforcement to a private magistrate.
No new taxes please!

Our City Commission needs new blood with fresh perspective and willingness to take a turn and help work together to
keep everyone happy. Traditionally our city has been well managed with a balanced budget and plenty of freedom.
Technology is changing and we need to stay up to date, organized, and efficient. Our citizens need to be better
informed about running for this office and the important work it does. Election integrity is also a crucial aspect in the
health of our society.

Describe the top two priority challenges facing your municipality. What specific actions would you

Our Indian Rocks Beach Community is being overrun by investor-owned, short-term vacation rentals stressing our
residential single-family zoned neighborhoods with more than 1,900 active rentals. We are at a tipping point and must
work together regulating and enforcing to keep our small-town charm and community. We must continue to focus on
protecting our natural resources and beach renourishment. We must work with the Army Corps of Engineers together
on solving the easement impasse.

Pinellas County is surrounded on three sides by water and has many barrier islands. How will you balance
competing demands of development and environmental protection? (500 characters)
I would ensure that our city’s existing codes and ordinances are communicated and in compliance. Support our city’s
recycling efforts and the close monitoring of street run off from development because of the amount of intercoastal
water surrounding our community, monitoring beach pollution because of our wildlife and nesting sea turtles. And
support our local organizations that focus on the beautification of IRB like Action 2000, Save our Cottages, and
Greentown Kids.

Our City Commission is moving in the right direction putting common sense ordinances in place. Our permanent
residents have had to bear the constant noise, traffic, and a rotating door of strangers. We need to work together to
restore the residential character and make sure these businesses are operating on the same level playing field as our
local hotels while enforcing the ordinances we have.

What key steps, if any, do you think are needed to ensure that infrastructure and services in Indian Rocks
Beach support quality of life for residents for years to come? (500 characters)
IRB has a lot of parks and more beach access than most of our surrounding cities. Our beaches and waterways are an
important part of our community and a primary reason most residents live here. We must consciously plan to
maintain our natural environment. Open communication and getting our residents actively involved and engaged in
the community is crucial. I’ll promote ways to do so and gain our children’s involvement in community leadership and
service like a Youth Leadership Council.

I have had two distinctive careers. I spent 28 years in the United State Army, retiring as a Colonel. I then transition
into a senior aerospace consulting career, retiring as a Managing Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers. I have
extensive senior leadership experience that I have leveraged during my two terms on town council. I look forward to
continuing to serve the community.

Describe the top two priority challenges facing your municipality. What specific actions would you
propose to address these challenges? (500 characters)
Following the condominium collapse, the legislation has challenged the town to manage the responsibility for
compiling with the legislation. We have the four largest number of condominiums in Pinellas County. The second
challenge is beach renourishment. We are part of the barrier island communities that rely on the beaches for our
enjoyment and protection from severe weather. We are working closely with Pinellas County, the State of Florida, and
the Army to find solutions to renourishment.

Pinellas County is surrounded on three sides by water and has many barrier islands. How will you balance
competing demands of development and environmental protection? (500 characters)
As a barrier island community, we are focused on environment protection while balancing the quality of life for our
residents and guests. I led the $1.3 million landscaping project focused on improving our main highway through town.
We have also recently installed approved turtle streetlights throughout town. We have also set the highest standards
for construction which allows our residents to get a 15% reduction in their insurance premiums.

As a town council member for the past five years I have focused on the continual improvement of the quality of life in
Indian Shores. I have been the community garden coordinator for the past 10 years. I led the $1.3 million landscaping

town. I'm running to continue the focus on the quality of life for our residents and guests.

What in your professional and personal experience makes you the best candidate for this position? (400

What makes me the best candidate is that I have over 10 years experience in the public sector, 6 of those years
currently with The City of St Petersburg in their Economic and Workforce Development Department. I'm also the lead
for everything workforce related for the City of St Petersburg. But, most importantly I've been a resident of Kenneth
City since 2015 and understand what needs to be done.

Describe the top two priority challenges facing your municipality. What specific actions would you
propose to address these challenges? (500 characters)
The top two priorities: 1) reduce City spending, and 2) increase revenue to the City resulting in excess funds to be
used for infrastructure and neighborhood revitalization. This is achieved by attracting new business and retaining
current businesses by various business incentive programs. In terms of employment need, Kenneth City has an
untapped workforce: Our senior community who would either like to continue or return back to work. Let's create
education and training programs for them!

Pinellas County is surrounded on three sides by water and has many barrier islands. How will you balance

Kenneth City has minimal opportunity for redevelopment much less development, however we have our neighbors
surrounding us on three sides: St Petersburg, Pinellas Park, and Lealman in which we can follow their lead in policy
making, centered around environmental protection while maintaining autonomy and making decisions that is unique
to Kenneth City's needs.
