Virtual Exhibition and Sponsoring 1 The uncertain projections for the next months have led ESP to the decision to move the 33rd European Congress of Pathology (ECP) to a virtual setting. The 33rd Europe- an Congress of Pathology will now be delivered as a virtual event for 3 days from 29 – 31 August 2021. There is a considerable reduction in registration fees, with which the ESP is sure to attract a very wide range of participants, likely more than for a live event. By going virtual, ECP goes green – by eliminating CO2 emissions and reduction of waste. At the same time, a virtual congress has great benefits by eliminating the risk of COVID-19 infections. We count on your continued support for the European Congress of Pathology and look forward to determining your involvement in the virtual congress with you. Virtual Exhibition and Sponsoring 2 Information on the Congress and the Scientific Programme The congress will host participants from all over the world and attracts 3,000 – 4,000 participants. The participants are practicing pathologists, academic pathologists and researchers. In particular, pathology laboratory directors and heads of pathology de- partments will widely be represented. CME Credits The ESP is seeking approval from the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide CME credits for the scientific programme of the congress. Those credits are recognised by the American Medical Association to- wards the Physician’s Recognition Award (PRA). More detailed information will become available prior to the congress on the congress website www.esp-congress.org. The sponsor shall organise his symposium on its own behalf subject to prior consulta- tion with the ECP 2021 Congress Organisers. If desired, the Congress Organisers will be pleased to assist with choosing a topic and speakers. The ECP 2021 Congress Or- ganisers will try to make sure that at the time at which the symposium is being held there won't be thematic overlap with parallel symposia. In addition, the organiser of each Industry Sponsored Symposium must assume the responsibility for overseeing that the messages and conclusions presented during the symposium are based on hard scientific data. Exhibitors can provide plen- ty of content, such as videos and brochures, to draw interest. Online chat features and e-mail contacts provide the exhibitors with the possibility to get in touch with the delegates directly and follow up. The ECP 2021 offers you either 4 different booth packages (Basic, Comfort, Premium or Deluxe) or an individual presentation.
