More campers than under construction. ever attended one of our 52 carnivals in 45 different cities across the USA. Don’t forget to bring your carnival card with valuable merits to camp with you this summer. You can always save them, but just in case, the merit store is being stocked by Cami with many great new items! The Girl’s camp has 98% of last summer’s campers signed back up and many of your favorite counselors will be back as well! Bill, Carol, Will and Coco are looking forward to seeing everyone and expecting this summer to be our BEST-EVER (of course). Inks Lake was lowered 8 feet in January and February. This gave us the opportunity to make lots of improvements, clean up the shoreline a bit and add a few muddy items to the lost and found. We built a new water volleyball court at the Fun in the Sun area New Flamingo Cabin coming for 2020 and are in the process of completing a new Flamingo cabin. You will also notice a new Ole Face-full by Mary’s cabin. This new hydration station will be re- built from Zark Withers “cool” original design from 1950. It will still be a d-merit for wasting water. Barney and his crew are putting the finishing touches on a beautiful remodel of the KP area in the Chow Hall. 2

Mail Call Mail Call is one of the highlights of the day; campers enjoy receiving mail from their family and friends. Our “NO BOX” policy has been a blessing to alleviate a messy cabin environment and competition amongst campers to write home for more packages. Camp is a gift in itself! 1. NO BOXES – Boxes of any size will be returned to the sender, this includes Amazon. 2. ENVELOPES ONLY! (Any size: paper, padded or Tyvek) with small items are accepted, please limit to only ONE per week. 3. NO FOOD, CANDY, GUM, WATER GUNS, SILLY STRING or WATER BALLOONS!!! Our staff will supervise all packages opened by your camper and unacceptable items will be taken up and donated to local charities. 4. Please do not purchase gifts for the whole cabin. 5. SHIPPING A FOOTLOCKER TO CAMP: We will hold your camper’s footlocker and 1 box with laundry bag and bedding until your camper arrives. 6. In case of a special situation or emergency item, please notify our office. (c/o Director) 7. Please ADVISE family AND friends OF THIS POLICY. ADDRESSING MAIL Writing letters is new to many campers. Please make sure your camper can properly address an envelope/postcard. We recommend sending pre-addressed envelopes or labels for your camper to use. Don’t forget to pack the stamps! If sending letters ahead of time, make sure camper’s FIRST & LAST name are on the envelope. We will get it to the right cabin!! *Cabin names are not announced until campers arrive at camp.
