Travel Updates - United Arab Emirates (Dubai) – Page 01 Travel Criteria: For Passengers departing from Dubai to India • i. Indian nationals or nationals of Nepal or Bhutan stranded in UAE or in any country in South America or Africa; • ii. All Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders and Person of Indian Origin (PIO) cardholders holding passports of any country; and • iii. UAE nationals and foreign nationals (from any country in South America or Africa only) intending to visit India for any purpose (including their dependents on appropriate category of dependent visa) except those on Tourist Visa. • Passengers traveling on flights from India to UAE should be destined for UAE or any country in South America or Africa only. Similarly, only passengers originating from UAE or any country in South America or Africa should be allowed to travel on flights from UAE to India. • As per extant government regulations, passengers are permitted to travel to India from the United Kingdom only on a direct flight. Customers shall not be allowed to travel to India through a transit airport of another country . All costs or losses arising out of the same shall be borne solely by the passenger. • Airline will not accept any passenger(s) on board, if such passenger has travelled to and/or visited South Africa within fourteen (14) days prior to the entry in to the UAE who is in transit through Dubai, except UAE Nationals who are returning to UAE • COVID-19 RT-PCR test is mandatory for the Indian destinations which require the COVID -19 RT-PCR report. • We have partnered with NMC Healthcare, Health Hub Al Futtaim and Zulekha Hospitals for passengers travelling from the UAE to India to take COVID-19 RT-PCR Test at a special rate by presenting air ticket and ID Proof. • Passengers are advised to download and install 'Aarogya Setu' mobile app for COVID-19 alerts. • All international arriving passengers travelling to India must register online “AIR SUVIDHA” digital Self-Reporting Form through https://www.newdelhiairport.in/airsuvidha/apho-registration to declare their health and consent for self-paid institutional quarantine. • As per Government of India’s guidelines, international customers arriving into India are permitted to take onward flights only after they have completed mandatory quarantine at the first port of entry into India or are exempted. Travel Criteria: For Passengers departing from India to Dubai • i. UAE nationals. • ii. ICA /GDRFA approved UAE residents. • iii. Any Indian national or national of Nepal or Bhutan destined for UAE or any country in South America or Africa only and holding a valid visa of the destination country. It would be for the airlines concerned to ensure that there is no travel restriction for Indian/Nepalese/Bhutanese nationals to enter the destination country before issue of ticket/boarding pass to the Indian/Nepalese/Bhutanese passenger. • Airline will not accept any passenger(s) on board, if such passenger has travelled to and/or visited South Africa within fourteen (14) days prior to the entry in to the UAE who is in transit through Dubai, except UAE Nationals who are returning to UAE • Depending on your UAE visa, you need to apply to either the GDRFA or ICA for approval to return • UAE residents who have Dubai issued residence visa must obtain GDRFA approval https://smart.gdrfad.gov.ae/Smart_OTCServicesPortal/ReturnPermitService.aspx. Without approval to return to Dubai, you will not be accepted for travel. GDRFA approval is only for Dubai residence visa holders • Residents holding residence visa issued through any other emirate are required to upload their Emirates ID number, passport, and nationality on https://uaeentry.ica.gov.ae/ to verify the authenticity of their travel. If you get a message in Green then you can proceed with the completion of your travel procedures. Without approval to return to Dubai, you will not be accepted for travel. • If you hold a UAE resident visa and have stayed outside of the country for more than 180 days, you will be allowed to enter the UAE until 31 March 2021. • Tourists with valid visa are not required to get any approvals from GDRFA or ICA. Indian nationals who are intending to travel to Dubai on visit or tourist visa or desire to obtain visa on arrival are permitted to travel if they are in possession of a valid return ticket. The passengers must be holding valid return tickets and not necessarily a single / conjunction ticket. • Visitors and tourists must have valid medical insurance before departing for Dubai • Seamen shall be allowed to travel with all necessary documents such as passport, CDC booklet, Guarantee letter, Ok to Board Letter and should be in possession of valid 96Hrs transit visa. Seamen intending to travel beyond UAE are currently not permitted to travel on our flights
Travel Updates - United Arab Emirates (Dubai)- Page 02 • Passengers must carry a negative PCR certificate in printed form, from a government approved laboratory in India (ICMR) or a certified designated laboratory which is available on https ://www.icmr.gov.in/pdf/covid/labs/COVID_Testing_Labs_28092020.pdf or Pure Health approved laboratories https://screening.purehealth.ae/ • Effective from 31st January 2021 the following conditions must be met for all flights to/from DXB . UAE residents, GCC citizens & tourists arriving to Dubai From 31 January 2021, all passengers arriving into Dubai from any point of origin (GCC countries included) must hold a negative COVID 19 PCR test certificate for a test taken no more than 72 hours before departure. Passengers arriving into Dubai from certain countries will be required to take another PCR test on arrival at Dubai International airport. Children under the age of 12 and passengers who have a moderate or severe disability are exempt from this test. UAE Nationals from all countries arriving to Dubai All UAE Nationals are Not required to conduct PCR test before arriving at DXB. PCR Test on arrival only. Transit passengers from all countries arriving at Dubai All transiting passengers are not required to present a COVID 19 PCR test certificate unless it is mandated by their final destination. • The Certificate issued by the medical facilities to be authentic and is not altered. • The Certificate / Report must be for a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test only. Other test certificates including antibody tests and home testing kits are not accepted in Dubai. • SMS and Digital certificates are not accepted. • Passengers with expired COVID19 Certificates would not be accepted. • The Certificate / Report issued should be duly signed and stamped by relevant authorities and must only be in English or Arabic. • Hand written certificates are not permitted. • Damaged Negative COVID19 Certificates are also not to be accepted. • Regulatory authorities in Dubai has recommended to reject the RT-PCR test reports from the following laboratories - Microhealth Lab in the cities of Kerala - Suryam Lab in Jaipur - Dr P. Bhasin Pathlab (P) Ltd. in Delhi - Noble Diagnostic Centre in Delhi - 360 Diagnostic & Health. Services • Issuance of boarding card at the departing airport in India is subject to API - UAE approval. Airline reserves the right to refuse travel till approval is accorded by UAE Government. • Quarantine undertaking form to be filled and submitted to authorities upon arrival into Dubai • You may need to take another COVID-19 PCR test before immigration on arrival. If you take a test at the airport, you must remain in your residence until you receive the test result. • If the test result is positive, you will be required to undergo isolation and follow the Dubai Health Authority guidelines. Travelling from Dubai to Abu Dhabi There are strict rules for travelling into Abu Dhabi by road. All passengers entering Abu Dhabi must have a negative COVID‑19 PCR test result issued within 48 hours. You may have to quarantine depending on how long you have been in the UAE. Effective 17 January 2021, all UAE citizens and expats, including returning Abu Dhabi residents, must present a negative result for a COVID-19 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) or diffractive phase interferometry (DPI) laser test taken 48 hours before entry to Abu Dhabi.

In case the result is negative, is entitled to move, and if the result is positive, passengers concerned will have to undergo home/health quarantine up to a period stipulated by the UAE Ministry of Health and Community Protection. • In case of a positive result of PCR test, the period of medical isolation is 14 days, with passengers or their sponsors bearing the expenses of treatment and isolation. In the event of non-compliance of quarantine restrictions, they will be liable to strict legal action and penalties. • All Passengers must download and register on the ALHOSN App • Issuance of boarding card at the departing airport in India is subject to API - UAE approval. Airline reserves the right to refuse travel till approval is accorded by UAE Government. • Self-health declaration to be filled and submitted during check-in • Both tourists and residents must ensure that they have adequate health insurance that covers all costs of treatment and isolation until the results of their PCR medical test arrive. • Tourists to have: - A valid return ticket. The passengers must be holding valid return tickets and not necessarily a single / conjunction ticket. - International medical insurance. - All tourists are required to have a PCR test result that is negative, no longer than 96 hours before arriving at Sharjah Airport. Proof must be presented upon entering Sharjah Airport and the same examination must be completed upon arrival to Sharjah Airport Tourists with valid visa are not required to get any approvals from GDRFA or ICA. • Arrivals from all destinations must have a local UAE Mobile Number starting with 050, 056, 057 or 058 for PCR track and trace purposes. Without a UAE Mobile Number, passengers will not be allowed into the UAE. For your convenience, Telecom providers have booths in the Arrival PCR Testing Zones, so that a UAE SIM Card can be purchased, if needed. • Seamen shall be allowed to travel with all necessary documents such as passport, CDC booklet, Guarantee letter, Ok to Board Letter and should be in possession of valid 96Hrs transit visa. You will be provided with a medically-approved wristband for the duration of your quarantine, after you clear immigration. • Passengers holding diplomatic passports and ii) Passengers below the age of 18 years are exempted from 10 days quarantine. • The residents of Abu Dhabi with independent residing facilities are being given home quarantine for and not institutional quarantine. The residents need to show the copy of the Tenancy Contract to the Health Authorities on arrival. • Unaccompanied Minors are acceptable at Abu Dhabi Airport and being allowed to be handed over to the parents residing in Abu Dhabi. Unaccompanied Minors are exempted from Institutional Quarantine Travel regulations are changing frequently.
