The rebirth of
Battersea Power Station.
One of the largest regeneration projects in
Europe, Battersea Power Station will be delivered
across eight phases. The site masterplan is
designed by Rafael Viñoly, with many more
famous architectural names working on the
BAT TE R SE A development. The project also benefits from the
P OW E R genius of Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, the original
STATI O N designer of the Power Station and one of the
great figures of early 20th century architecture.
Phase 1, Circus West, is designed by dRMM
and SimpsonHaugh and Partners. This phase
includes 865 new homes, 23 cafés, restaurants
and shops and a new River Bus service.
Phase 2, The Power Station, is designed by
WilkinsonEyre Architects. This phase includes
40,000 sq ft office space in The Engine Room,
500,000 sq ft of offices pre-let to Apple, over
100 shops, 15 cafés and restaurants and a street
food market, a 2,000 person events venue, 253
new homes and the six-acre Power Station Park.
