DOME OF SAN PEDRO, CARTAGENA PANAMA CANAL TRANSIT (PANAMA) / 12 January As you wind your way through the lakes, waterways and canals of central Panama, surrounded by lush forest, you’ll glide from one ocean to the next. At the Panama Canal, you’ll be amazed how, in a flurry of mechanised activity, Silver Whisper will be lowered to make the final crossing AERIAL VIEW OF PANAMA CANAL and enter the Pacific Ocean. LIMA, CALLAO (PERU) / 17-18 January Famous for world-class cuisine, Peru’s capital is a blend of historic architecture and contemporary chic, with something for everyone. You’ll explore the quaint alleyways of Barranco and take a stroll on seaside cliffs overlooking vast sandy beaches before popping into one of the city’s extraordinary FACADE OF THE PRESIDENTIAL PALACE, LIMA seafood restaurants. 7
