Honda Accord LX Safety
Honda has always been well-known for creating safe vehicles. However, this is even more apparent in the 2018 Honda Accord LX,
which comes standard with the Honda Sensing® suite of predictive features. This includes (but is not limited to):
• Collision Mitigation Braking System™
• Road Departure Mitigation System
• Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow
• Traffic Sign Recognition System
These features achieve different ends, but they all tend to operate in the same way. Each uses a system of cameras and sensors to
monitor the road around your sedan. Then, they can send audio or visual warnings or, in some cases, act autonomously to prevent

Honda Accord EX In the Accord EX, you’ll have a new array of technologies to enjoy, some boosting your convenience and others boosting your entertainment. For example, the Accord EX adds in Remote Engine Start and Smart Entry with Walk Away Auto Lock®. This gives you not just keyless entry and automatic locking capabilities, but it also grants drivers the ability to start their cars remotely—a huge convenience if you live in an extreme clime. As far as safety goes, you’ll now have the Blind Spot Information System on your side. This feature uses cameras to monitor your blind spots and alert you when cars are traveling in them. For your entertainment, the standard audio system is upgraded to include eight speakers. This generates some robust sound quality through which you can stream SiriusXM® Satellite Radio. Honda Accord EX-L In the Accord EX-L, you’ll have a slightly more upscale offering. For example, all seats now come trimmed in leather, as does the steering wheel and shift knob. The driver’s seat also comes with a 2-position memory feature. That way, your smart seat can actually learn your preferred configurations. The 8-speaker audio system from the EX now receives a big upgrade, adding in two more speakers and a subwoofer. In total, this allows the Accord EX-L to crank out 450 watts. Additional convenience features, such as the HomeLink® remote system and the automatic-dimming rearview mirror, then wrap up this package tidily. In addition to this, you’ll have some nice mobile features. For one thing, you’ll have a wireless phone charger, perfect for keeping your devices juiced up while on the go. Mobile hotspot capability will then ensure that you always have a strong internet connection. Lastly, the Touring includes the Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™ with Voice Recognition and Honda HD Digital Traffic.
