                                                        The Lee name is one that is well-known and well-

                                                        has seen them play a role in shaping tourism and
                                                        snow sports in the valley. The Lees can trace their
                                                        history back to 1922 when John’s father Robert Lee
                                                        purchased Waiorua Station as part of the returned
                                                        serviceman’s ballot after World War I.
