Guildford is the only Purple Flag town in Surrey and one of only 70 in the country. So your stay in town will be safe, clean and vibrant. 2
Welcome Guildford and its neighbouring towns and villages are an ideal location to hold a meeting, conference or event. With excellent road and rail links, and close proximity to Heathrow and Gatwick airports, delegates and guests can gather in Guildford, Woking, Dorking and the surrounding countryside with great ease. Surrey is easily accessible however you choose to travel. Although London is less than 40 miles away and approximately 30 minutes by train, the area is surrounded by rolling countryside and many venues in this guide are in peaceful rural areas. The beautiful countryside and picturesque villages were the setting for the London 2012 Olympic Road Cycle Races and the Tour of Britain final leg in September 2012. Many countries chose Surrey for their pre-games training camps so what better place to hold your own team building events.
