Abundance of Moderna • Since July 1st, MLHU has administered more than 81,000 doses of Moderna vaccine • Number of vaccinations have declined in the past 2 weeks • Excess of 21,300 doses of thawed Moderna vaccine • Must be used by August 12th • Highlighting the interchangeability of the mRNA vaccines is key
COVID-19 Fixed Vaccination Clinics • Appointments continue to be low at one third capacity • Walk-in options for 1st and 2nd doses of vaccine continue at all four mass clinics (until 1 hour before closing) - 25% first doses • Earl Nichols and NLOCC are now operating with shorter hours, utilizing just one shift of immunizers and PAs five days a week from 8:30-3:30 • Mt Brydges to move to reduced hours August 17th with the Agriplex to follow on September 2nd • Team members are beginning to transition to mobile and pop-up clinics
COVID-19 Vaccine Mobile Clinics
• On Tuesday last week, the Mobile Team gave its 10,000th dose
since June 21.
o This was a huge milestone and the team is now aiming for
15,000!
• In August there are 1-4 clinics a day in schools, parks, shelters,
housing complexes, churches and at special events. There are
some great collaborative relationships we are leveraging with city
and community groups, allowing expansion of vaccine delivery.
o Coming soon: Masonville Mall, London Air Show and Pride
events!COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution • Vaccine orders are slowing down from community partners creating challenges when opening a vial • Single dose syringes options are being used with LTCH and RHs and being explored with HCPs and other agencies. • Homebound visits requests continue to be fulfilled in collaboration with EMS and the LHIN

• The Ontario government has given some details of what exiting
the roadmap will look like for the province:
o Continued masking for publicly accessible indoor spaces
o Capacity limits lifted
o Physical distancing or plexiglass continues in public spaces
o Active or passive screening as directed by the Office of the
Chief Medical Officer of Health or other public health
official
o Safety plans required by businessesNEW Roadmap Exit Step • Ontario will remain in Step Three until 80% of the eligible population aged 12 and over has received one dose of a COVID- 19 vaccine, and 75% have received their second, with no public health unit having less than 70% of their eligible population aged 12 and over fully vaccinated.

There are no details on how COVID-19 outbreaks will be managed, or when a classroom or school will be shut down, but general guidance was provided: • Returning to the classroom full-time, with remote learning as an option • Staff and students Grade 1 and up must wear masks indoors • Self-screening will be required before coming into the school • Team sports, field trips, and extracurricular activities will resume • Assemblies, physical education classes, music programs, and recess are allowed • Students will be allowed in shared spaces including libraries and cafeterias • Secondary students are to have no more than two courses at a time
