THE PROJECT RESULTS The overall objective of this hospital project was to provide ,QMXVWWKHͤUVWPRQWKVRIRSHUDWLRQ0(5+KDGDOUHDG\ access to better healthcare for more people by increasing served over 1 million people. This PPP model could be replicated in other Member Countries. In its power to create a new hospital, it has shown impact. The construction of this hospital in Turkey has also produced positive lessons for delivering socially and environmentally sustainable UHVXOWVDVZHOODVͤQDQFLDOO\VRXQGRQHV%XLOWRQ what was already publicly owned land, the hospital serves the health needs of a sizable local population. Detailed assessments and independent audits for environmental and social responsibility have revealed no negative issues. In summary, strong bankability, smooth implementation, and completion ahead of schedule are among the important lessons for success presented by this new hospital.
