unique day and the wedding of your dreams. Whether you are planning a small intimate
day or a large sparkling one our team will help make this the happiest most romantic day
of your life.

We also offer exclusive use Weddings where you have a 2 days for yourselves & guests....
stay the night before the wedding when you can get together with your family & friends
for an amazing A la Carte meal & then wake up refreshed for your big day.

If you want to be married in Church you are welcome to come for your Wedding
Breakfast & Reception or if you want the ceremony in our stunning cliff-top Gazebo or
licensed room indoors we would be delighted either way.

Your Wedding Day
          Your day could run like this.........
Why not stay the night before in our of one seaview rooms then wake up refreshed & excited

Order breakfast in your room (or go down to dining room) & then order champagne to your
room as you have your hair & make-up done

The bar is open for the men to meet & run through last minute details

At 11.40 the registrar arrives to meet the groom & calm last minute nerves!

At 11.50 Excited guests are shown to the ceremony area to be seated

At 12.00 It’s time to make entrance as you walk into your choice of music

12.30 Let the celebrations begin now you are married. It’s time for photos, canapés and
arrival drinks on the deck & in the grounds

At 2.30pm the Bride & Groom are welcomed into the restaurant for their Wedding
Breakfast followed by speeches and cutting the cake

At 6.30pm move into the marquee for your evening function, your first dance will be soon!

At 8pm your evening buffet is served

11.45pm last orders at the bar

Civil Ceremony
               .....Unique & Stunning Location
Sandy Cove Hotel is licensed for marriage ceremonies and civil partnerships. Please contact
the local Registrar to confirm available dates and times.

We have the ideal location for a Wedding Ceremony.

There is a licensed indoor room for marriage ceremonies, as well as an amazing outdoor
Gazebo which has stunning sea views. For a non exclusive use package
the ceremony will take place between 11.30 and 1.00, for an informal late afternoon package
based solely in the marquee, the ceremony can be later. With an exclusive use wedding there
is no ceremony time restriction.

The charge is £350

This Ceremony rate includes Room Hire and Chair set-up, use of CD
equipment, Bar Facilities before and after the Ceremony.

(a decision will be made on the morning of the wedding as to whether or not the ceremony can
take place outside according to the weather)

We offer the packages on the following pages but would be happy to discuss any
other wishes you may have.

Packages are based on minimum numbers and an additional room hire charge
may apply if numbers fall below the minimum of 30 people. Please see terms for
details. We can cater for special dietary requirements.

From April to October your evening function will be held in our amazing
Marquée. (Unless you are booking exclusive use, you can choose between the
main hotel and the marquee). You are free to organise your own disco or band for
the Marquée.

Accommodation
Our Deluxe Balcony Room is available for the Bride & Groom to book in
advance for the night of their wedding with a 10% discount. The rate
includes Bed & Full English Breakfast which can be taken in your room
(by prior arrangement).

We offer accommodation to wedding guests for a minimum two night
stay. We ask that guests book individually with the Hotel. Guests will
have full use of the swimming pool and facilities.

 2 Day Package

 Included in the cost:
        2 Nights Accommodation for 70 people (38 Bedrooms) - You may then charge your
        guests for the rooms to reduce the cost of your wedding. We suggest £100 to £275 per
        room ..... But this is entirely your choice.
        A La Carte Meal for 70 on first night
        Breakfast for 70 on both mornings
        Wedding Reception - Bronze Package with Drinks for 70 people

 Alternative Payment Method:
 You pay for your wedding in full, we charge your guests our normal tariff starting at £75
 per person per night bed & breakfast (or whatever you want to charge) and then we refund
 this to you after they have checked out.
 (You would be able to tell your guests that you would be providing an a la carte meal for
 your guests free of charge within the package)

If you have more than 70 guests for your wedding breakfast additional meals will be charged at £40 per
person (Based on Bronze Package) & £11 per person for the evening buffet.
If you have more than 70 people staying, additional accommodation will be charged at £50 per person
per night, children will be charged at £25 per child per day.

HOW TO BOOK
You are most welcome to visit the hotel and discuss your individual requirements with one of our Managers
or the Wedding Coordinator.
The Wedding Coordinator will meet with you to discuss you requirements and then liaise with heads of
departments to ensure all your wishes are met, we have a very experienced Restaurant Manager who will run
the Wedding on the day.

DEPOSIT REQUIRED
A deposit of £750 along with the signed copy of the Terms and Conditions will secure the date of the
reception. Please note that all deposits are non-refundable. The deposit paid will be deducted from the final
balance.

EXCLUSIVE USE PACKAGES
A deposit of £3,000 for exclusive use packages along with the signed copy of the Terms and Conditions will
secure the date of the reception. Please note deposits are non - refundable. The deposit paid will be deducted
from the final balance. 50% of the remaining balance will be payable 3 months prior to the wedding and the
remaining balance will be due 1 month prior to the wedding.

A further deposit of £500 is payable 1 month before the wedding, in case of damage, theft, extra guests found
to be staying not notified to the hotel in advance (if this happens you will also be liable for the cost of
accommodation for these people) & people bringing their own alcohol into the hotel.

MINIMUM NUMBERS
For receptions above 30 people there is no room hire charge. For numbers below 30 a room hire charge of
£250 will apply to all wedding receptions. The Hotel does not operate a corkage facility. Only food & drink
provided by the Hotel is to be consumed on the premises.

WEDDING CEREMONY
The charge for the hire of licensed marriage area for a Civil Wedding Ceremony is£350. (A decision will be
made in the morning based on the weather as to whether an outside ceremony can take place).
For non exclusive use weddings the marriage ceremony would be between 11.30am & 1pm to ensure a
smooth running of your day. For an informal late afternoon wedding package based solely in the marquee
the ceremony time can be later.

MARQUEE
The marquee is available for you, if you wish to arrange for someone to add your own personal touches, from
10.30am on the morning of your wedding.
Due to health and safety candles or any other naked flames are not permitted in the marquee.
Please note as the marquee is a cash bar only, with no credit card facilities - you may wish to make your
guests aware of this.

EVENING ENTERTAINMENT
You are free to organise your own disco or band for the Marquée. Our music licence states that all
entertainment must finish at midnight and the Bar will close at midnight (unless you have booked exclusive
use of the hotel). We reserve the right to close the bar early if the Manager feels it necessary to do so.

EVENING BUFFET
For an evening reception we must cater for the total number of guests that you invite.
When food is not required for an evening function, a room charge will be made.
Only food and drink provided by the Hotel is to be consumed on the premises. There will be £100 surcharge
for any items brought in.

It is the responsibility of the Wedding Couple to ensure guests do not consume their own
alcohol on the premises & we reserve the right to charge £100 surcharge.
FINAL NUMBERS & PAYMENT
   Final numbers are due 3 weeks before the wedding day with payment due no later than 2 weeks before the
   wedding day.
   Payment can be made via debit or credit card or a BACS transfer. Unfortunately we do not accept cheques.
   No allowance will be given for any decrease in numbers after this date.
   If payment deadlines are not met we reserve the right to cancel your wedding.

   CANCELLATIONS
   In the event of you needing to cancel your wedding your deposit will be forfeited, if cancellation is less than a
   week before the event: 50% of anticipated revenues is chargeable.

   For Exclusive Use Weddings, if cancellation is 1 month before or less the full wedding payment is non
   refundable. If cancellation is 3 months or less prior to the wedding date, payments made up to this stage are
   completely non refundable. Cancellation means all room bookings as well, it is your responsibility to let your
   guests know this.

   Notice of cancellations must be given in writing.
   We strongly advise all couples to make their own insurance arrangements.

   BOOKINGS ONE OR MORE YEARS IN ADVANCE
   Prices cannot be guaranteed for any bookings made for one or more years in advance of the date.

   APPOINTMENT PROCEDURE
   Appointments regarding your wedding should take place 6 months prior to the wedding and then again 1
   month prior to the wedding. Please ring up the hotel to arrange these appointments when these times arrive.
