Hawkes Bay Vintage Car Club Art Deco Event 2022
                   Sponsored by Bay Ford Napier

A reminder to all Branch Members to consider registering for you premier Event of 2022.

The Art Deco Parade is filling fast so do not be disappointed and miss out.

The feature Cars are Early Ford and we are getting support from throughout New Zealand.

This group will be lead in the Parade by a Ford Fire Engine from Bay Ford Napier. There
will also be a Fire Engine from Clydesdale Museum Fire Brigade Inc based in Hamilton. This
is a 1921 Dennis Fire Engine Type N, formerly based in Napier. This truck fought fires
during the 1931 earthquake. It will be great to have it back in Napier and will be on
display over the weekend.

Due to the normal success of our Thursday night opening we have had to create a waiting
list due to only being able to feed 102 people in the Club Rooms. Meal is being organized
by Lesley and Malcom Blair with their usual band of helpers.

Paul Anderson is looking after all parking duties this year so do not wait for him to ring
you make his role easier by giving him a call and offer your help.

Look forward to seeing your registrations coming in to Paul Eager who is handling
administration duties this year. Thanks to support of Julie Trott who has done this role for
                                    a number of years.
Regards. Steve Donovan. HBVCC Art Deco Event 2022 Coordinator.

SPARES NEWS//
By John Durry

Hi All
Over the last month due to the lock down
unfortunately the spares has been very
quiet, but in the background things have
been happening. A member of our spares
group Nigel Brown has just completed the
restoration of his MG (report to follow)
and as he had nothing to do he asked a
few members if anyone new of a project.
Another member new of a 1919 Dodge in
Napier and Nigel decided he would start
this project.
Members of the spares uplifted the Dodge

a month Nigel got a bit disillusioned with
the task at hand and decided it wasn't really
him, so put an advert in Beaded Wheels and
a member from Te Puke came & had a look,
showed an interest and a figure was settled
on, the new owner also has a 1919 & a 1925
Dodge. Nigel has decided to donate the
money to the VCCC spares, and there are
a few items that were doubled up which we
